“We got a really warm welcome on arrival which was lovely. They accommodated us having dinner even though we arrived only just before 9pm. Food was really tasty and service was great - plenty of well trained staff. The hotel all looks newly decorated and is finished to a very high standard - felt luxurious. The room was clean and comfortable. Location was great. Plenty of car parking although it was very full, but we did manage to find a space. ”

“Our family of 16, ages 76-4, enjoyed a wonderful week at Sunnybank house. We loved having enough room (and bathrooms!) for all I’ve rented a lot of vacation houses over the years and never been in one as well equipped! Everything you could possibly need for cooking was there It’s also walking distance (really) to several good restaurants. Clifden is the perfect location to explore Connemara and Mayo.”

“What a beautiful cottage and an amazingly beautiful location! We were very comfortable there. The kitchen and sitting area is wonderful since it is all windows and you are looking out over the river and the meadows. We wish we had booked more time. Also, our hosts were very informative and helpful with recommendations for places to go. Thank you and we hope to come back.!”

“Nice bungalow. Problem with oven door which was a pity but I’m sure it will be replaced. Spacious bungalow with plenty of room for the five of us. Lovely views and great location for exploring - we have been coming to the area for fifty years so we didn’t need to venture far anyway. Clifden/Kylmore/Cleggan all within 20/30 mins drive. Good communication with the host and very friendly and helpful. I would recommend and book again !!”

“Excellent base for visiting Connemara. We particularly liked the space and brightness of the house, the comfort of the beds, the showers, the information provided about the Clifden area, and the parking arrangements. I will e-mail Love Connemara Cottages separately about the defects: not enough wine glasses when we arrived, one toilet was blocked, one shower didn't drain properly, a difficult front door lock, and the rather unkempt garden.”
