“The pictures were misleading about this property and there is a terrible cat odor smell upstairs. There is one door that is locked that the smell seems to come from. One day we came back and this door was open and what looked like an old molded mattress was on the floor. There is no pool on property, nor is there access to one. “Very nice secluded place for peace and quiet from city life. The place was well kept and everything worked as it should. The only thing that I can think of that was disappointing was not seeing any wild life. Still had a beautiful view of the stars at night. Beautiful sunrise as well. Great place to take your wife to get away from the kids for a few nights. ”

“Had a quick trip out to Lake Whitney for a visit. Needed a place to overnight and found this place. Worked out for our needs. It sits out about 10 minutes east/northeast of Whitney on some caliche roads. Was peaceful and relaxing after a day of running around. Nice view and quiet. Bed comfy, a/c worked great (a bit of noise but nothing out of ordinary), and nice big bathroom area for small unit. Had small kitchen stuff with coffee bar, microwave, and small frig.
