The staff was awesome, but upon our arrival the elevator was out and being serviced, which meant we had to carry our luggage upstairs. Then in the morning, we were getting ready to go down to breakfast when the water pressure in our room was almost nonexistent! We went down to the lobby and found someone up on a ladder tearing the ceiling apart and water was pouring down from the ceiling. Apparently a pipe had broke in the ceiling and the hotel had no water! We decided that was 2 strikes against them, and we didn’t want to have a third strike, so we checked out!

After another local motel canceled our already booked room the Country Inn was very accommodating. We were thankful that they went above and beyond to meet our late request. Would definitely stay here again.

I wish I could leave a zero star because that’s what I would’ve left. It all started when we first got there. There was nobody at the front desk. The manager of the motel was in her office in the back. She yells out to the front saying that she would be out in just a minute fine so I waited when she came out she asked me for her name. I gave her what the reservation was under then from then on she gave me attitude, so I gave her attitude right back to her. We stay in Clinton once a week at the Hampton Inn never an issue. We love it over there this motel room was disgusting. We went in after getting our keys. We went and went to our motel room it’s stunk in there like musky, wet smell. It was disgusting I didn’t even want to take my shoes off and walk around and my socks so luckily I did pack my slippers. So my husband and I went and got dinner. We left our puppy dogs there. I didn’t even want them sleeping on the floor because it was so gross not clean at all didn’t smell clean. It was just disgusting so then we get back. My husband takes a shower. I had forgotten some things at home so I ran over to Walmart by that time it was around 7:30 8 o’clock. We were getting ready for bed and in the bathroom in the sink, there was a bug. My husband said it was a black water bug. I don’t care what kind of bug it was. It was disgusting. I didn’t sleep well and then the outlets on my side of the bed did not work, but the lights worked. We will never go back to this hotel. Not impressed.

Although I did enjoy the property, it was clean. My room was clean although I did find a narcotic pill on the desk seat, which I discarded after looking it up to see what it was. I received a text after my check in asking me if I had any questions and I replied, yes what was the Wi-Fi password and that I was a choice member but absolutely no one ever got back to me.

Don’t bother staying here

I’m not one to leave reviews, bad or good. But this hotel broke the mold. I booked our rooms over a month in advanced and request adjoining or adjacent rooms. We are a family of 7 with five kids under 10. So we are required to have two rooms. Upon arriving I asked the front desk to make sure and the clerk aggressively said, “we are too busy and she did what she could.” Not sure who “she” was but we ended up having rooms at the opposite ends of the hotel. Not a big deal but I obviously enjoying sleeping with my husband. Next up we went to check out rooms out, upon entering we were greeted by a giant booger on the way, hair under the sheets (which sometimes the washer doesn’t get it all), yellow crusty stains on the sheet on top of the comforter, mold on the bathroom ceiling, hair and pee on the toilet rim and a TV that wouldn’t let us past the “click okay to choose your channel.” To top it off, we chose this hotel for the hot tub and pool and the hot tub was completely boarded up and something green was growing in the pool. So instead of complaining I contacted hotels.com and let them know we would be checking out in the morning. The next morning I walked up and told the front desk we were checking out early. She asked if everything was okay, and I just informed her that it wasn’t. I was beyond nice and she was overly rude and defensive. To top it off they can’t even answer the phone for hotels.com to request the refund… This place is a joke. Don’t waste your time!

good elevater with nasty beep. No real entrance/exit to parking lot. Feels like have to drive to and around neighbor hotel to get there. Google maps wasnt sure about it either. dated but reasonably nice hotel.

The room smelled musty, there were visible marks on the walls that hadn’t been cleaned, and the pullout couch sheets were visibly dirt and had crumbs on them. Also, I went for breakfast at 7:30, and many of the pastries were already all gone.

We've stayed there several times once a year. This year, out of the 3 rooms we booked, there were dead bugs (cockroaches ) in the bathroom and hair on the toliet and floor (not hair from someone's head either) in 2 of the rooms. I am very disappointed in this stay this year.
