A very special place

  • This exclusive holiday home in a small village with 17 houses is just a few meters from the sea and offers stunning views of the bay and coast of West Cork. This property has private access, green Grassflaechen and a large wooden deck with barbecue and garden furniture. The house itself has a variety of luxury facilities. It is perfect for 5 people and makes the special location and amenities make your vacation a memorable one. The house has 3 bedrooms all with private bath. There is a spacious living area with spectacular sea views. To make your stay as comfortable as possible, the house has a fully equipped kitchen and a nice bright dining and living area with sea views. All bedrooms in this house are equipped with quality beds -two of bedroom with king size bed and a bedroom with a single bed. The house is a 'passive house' and is equipped with solar energy and ventilation system, and therefore is ideal for allergy sufferers. For cleaning and washing as much as possible only environmentally friendly products are used. The house is equipped with a charging station for EVs. Should you wish to avail of this, please inform the home owner. Electricity is charged on a non profit basis.

Sea Spray is a unique property right on the edge of the ocean. Tastefully designed, with interesting wall art and artefacts. It is equipped with every gadget you can imagine - it was a joy to cook here. Huge comfy beds with high quality linen, you can fall asleep in the master bedroom listening to the rolling sea waves. Ballinglanna is a peaceful area with a small harbour just beside the property, we swam everyday, it was glorious. There are several breathtaking walks in the area and plenty of information leaflets with ideas for exploring. The main town Clonakilty is one of the prettiest and cleanest places to visit, I would recommend the PIKE deli for mouthwatering cakes and pastries. Our favourite coffee / lunch stop was the Green DOT. The Clonakilty visitor centre is a must - arrive hungry as they provide you with tea and cooked products after the tour. If you need food supplies go to the enormous SuperValu, it’s a flagship store. Returning to Sea Spray after a day out feels like coming home, everything works, all is calm and the sea view is mesmerising. We were sad leaving but will definitely book this gorgeous place again. Thanks to Angela who was always on hand to help with queries.

A little piece of heaven

Loved our stay here. What a lovely location - so peaceful and quiet. House perfect and very comfortable - had everything needed and the view was just magic. Clonakilty 12 minutes away by car. Would stay here again and again.

Clonakilty 2023

An amazing location, right beside the Sea, a perfect spot to enjoy the sunshine and the storm. We had an amazing holiday, the decking area was absolutely beautiful. it really is a restful place and a perfect base to explore all that West Cork has to offer. I want to go back again very very soon.

It IS a very special place!

Loved every moment of our stay! House was clean, spacious and well appointed and was just like in the pictures. A very relaxing and quiet place to unwind with spectacular views that you could sit and look at for hours! No downside to staying here and I could definitely see ourselves coming back some time. Thanks for allowing us to share such a wonderful place!

Wonderful!

We absolutely love this place! We stayed here last year and we had such a perfect time that we returned again this year. This house has every possible thing you would need. It is clean, comfy and the view is spectacular. Communication with the owner was easy and any questions we had were promptly answered. Also enjoyed talking with Angela again! The peace and quiet was just what we wanted. We will be returning yet again as this place is so close to our hearts!

A little touch of heaven

What a wonderful week despite the weather being disappointing. We were so relaxed in this amazing property with gorgeous changing views over the sea. The house is well situated for exploring Cork coastal areas. Cobh and Kinsale were especially attractive. Highly recommend this holiday home.

Loved our stay in Clonakilty

Had an amazing stay at our property on the coast. Spectacular views, gourmet equipped kitchen, everything you needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Able to easily reach out to our host Doris who was quick to respond. The house was energy efficient and stayed temperate. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to get away and enjoy the country life.

Wir (2 Erwachsene + 2 Kinder) haben unseren Urlaub in dem wunderschönen Ferienhaus verbracht. Es war sehr sauber und wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse, von der Couch oder beim Kochen waren einzigartig. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen!
