  • A relaxing and peaceful guest house perfect for visiting family / attending events in the area, sight-seeing, nature lovers, or just passing through. Enjoy the rear window sunrise AND the spectacular sunset out front! 900 square foot, stand alone, newly renovated, open concept space with 2 bedrooms and a bath. We live on the property in a separate house. We share the driveway, pool, and yard (we take our two dogs outside several times a day). We’re always available via text, phone, email, and the Vrbo app.

Place was a great place to stay! Amazing views, we got to see sunset on the lake as well as visit the beach which was a short distance away. Diana was clear on communication and very prompt. My only issue was with the ants. We couldn’t find where they were coming from but outside of that it was a great stay.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison est confortable, et très bien équipée. La piscine a été très agréable, notamment en fin de journée à nos retours de visites. L'environnement est très calme. La situation de la maison nous a permis de visiter Baltimore, Annapolis et Washington DC. Nous avons facilement communiqué avec Diana avec la messagerie d'Abritel.

Quiet Cottage

This cottage is very lovely. Clean and so quiet. The setting is beautiful. Host provides so many things. I just had to bring my clothes, makeup and hairbrush. She provided all the rest. This is my 3rd time back. I will go back again. Host was very responsive when an issue came up. Thank you for such a lovely experience.

Overnight for Wedding

This was a lovely property with plenty of amenities for a longer stay. It was clean and had plenty of room for our party. We had a last minute addition and it worked out perfectly. Only wish the listing didn't say Owings in the address because we thought we were closer to the event we were attending. The extra 10 min. didn't hurt. I would recommend this quiet, pretty location.

Cute little cottage

while renovating our home, my husband and I had to leave while repairs were being made. The cottage was very clean and neat and stocked well with toiletries. The location was very easy to find. There was a very nice swimming pool on the property and play area for small kids. I highly recommend this property for an enjoyable vacation.

New grandson getaway

Monday to Monday, last week of April 2024. Commuted to Waldorf daily to visit family. Loved the peace and quiet. Loved it was close enough to Harris Teeter and other major stores to get everything I personally needed easily. Beautiful view of the river! Diana was friendly, helpful but never intrusive. Great that the owners are on property. Convenient, easy highway drives to nearby sites but secluded enough to feel very safe and private.

Our stay was beautiful. Small house but perfect for our overnight stay. Immaculately clean. Though we did not need anything during our stay, the home is on owner’s property and she was very nice in our brief interaction. Check out procedure was easy. Would absolutely book again.

Very nice house in a very serene setting. Modern and cozy. Very good location and close to shops and restaurants. The owners were very responsive and got back to us very quickly with any message we sent. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Peaceful weekend

What a lovely place! Nice and clean. Quiet and restful. Pool was perfect. No other guests. It was like a lovely oasis. Hosts were great too. I’ll go back next year. Can’t wait!

VRBO REPRESENTATIVE PROVIDED TERRIBLE SERVICE. However, the property and host exceeded expectations.

The property is breathtakingly beautiful, no words or photos can do it justice. The home had many special touches to make it very comfortable. The pool, the gardens, and the views of the water, created an ambiance I’ll never forget.
