“The room was large and nicely furnished. The provided washer and dryer were an excellent bonus. It was a bit of a drive into Capetown, but having a farm store on site, alpacas and donkeys right outside our cottage and being able to see table mountain from the property were nice touches. The atmosphere was quiet and safe and the staff were friendly.”

“Very good hospitality. A kitchen everyone could use, which was separate to the rooms. The rooms were spacious and clean. We loved the getaway and the toddler enjoyed herself as well. Roger, who is one of the staff, was very helpful and also great with assisting in anything we needed with a speedy service. The guesthouse is also in walking distance to the beach and to the shops. Which is very convenient. Will definitely use their accommodation again. ”

“They have a maximum 2 guest policy but I had booked with 2 children. They allowed us to continue with the reservation as well as provided a cot. Very friendly staff and very helpful with information. Laundry services are also available at an extra cost. Nice quiet neighbourhood ”

“Fantastic welcome and tour, the team couldn’t do enough for us. We only stayed for a couple of days on the way out of Cape Town and The Silo was perfect for that. A really different experience with great views an impeccable facilities. We had the very best nights sleep too, topped off by a wonderful breakfast.
