Potrebbe risultare piccola per chi è alto e robusto, soprattutto se in coppia ma all'interno è presente davvero tutto. ”

“A spotless comfortable room. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The evening meal was perfect and the breakfast was exceptional. We did not bring our pet this time but maybe next time. ”

“We loved it here, had a a good couple of nights with friends. Beautiful apartment, amazing mattresses and pillows, very quiet environment. The pool wasn’t open and some work was happening but you can tell it’s going to look amazing once they put it all together and summer prep work is expected at this time of year. Kara was fab and we met a super helpful housekeeper who is doing a degree who was a literal walking tourist information centre. Great atmosphere all round .”

“The Hotel staff were very friendly on arrival, Danny made us very welcome. The room was clean, very cosy and well equipped. We enjoyed our continental breakfast with lots of choice. We also booked a meal at the Basca Indian restaurant next door on recommendation and the food was delicious! The hotel is situated right in the middle of Colchester so the shops were in easy walking distance, as was the castle and art galleries. “I turned up early, and the friendly receptionist, chatted with me for ages. The room was sootless and when I checked in they had put a heater on to ensure the room wad warm. I will definitely return. ”

“The beer was cold and breakfast hot! Helpful and friendly, chatty staff. There’s a Waitrose next to the hotel for any bits & bobs you might need during your stay. Breakfast had a fair variety including make-your-own pancakes and lots of breads/pastries. Choice of non-dairy milks including oat and almond. Good overall.”

“This was a wonderful experience, very friendly staff who were always ready to help, offering glasses of chilled water in the spacious and well-furnished public rooms and alcohol in the evenings. We stayed in the large Shakespeare room, often used as a Bridal Suite. The spa is great, with a good sized pool, a jacuzzi and unusual sauna. Really good breakfasts served in bedrooms and at the nearby sister-hotel Milsoms. The fine dining at the main restaurant on the nearby River Stour was sublime,...
