“Bring earplugs &/or white noise. You’re sharing a home with the hosts, so sounds from their living area leak past interior doors. Kudos to them for being willing to share an attached dwelling with strangers — I don’t think I could! Other things to be aware of: You may be charged $25 extra if unable to check in at the appointed time. The short access road is bumpy, dusty gravel. Otherwise, all routes are paved. Room was very clean and nicely appointed. It was nice to meet their dogs and cats...

“Loved that the place was pet friendly and had a great big yard for them to run around in! The hot tub was definitely a bonus! Very spacious place all around. Was very convenient that the kitchen had the essential things we needed to prep food and drinks. They even provided some extra plastic sandwich baggies if you may need and other things as well! The location was great for heading into Yosemite (closer to an hour drive but not a big deal) the drive is gorgeous. The owners were fantastic: responsive, kind, and genuinely caring hosts.
