“All was great. This is a working stable with horses and those many that have to care for horses, plus at least one friendly dog. You felt welcomed and that was appreciated. With a 15 minute drive you are in North Berwick and so close to John Muir park and Seacliff. Seacliff is special. The only, and minor, negative was that it was not a peaceful place when we were there- lots of tree trimming (Chain saw) and chipping- so very noisy at times. “Great location on the beach, 2 minutes walk to the High Street. Clean, comfortable and spacious (4 people) with a lovely sun room overlooking the beach and harbour. Parking is a bit tight, but we managed even with a large van. Only criticisms are lack of soaps/shampoos for the showers and no paper towels/tissues supplied. However, this seems to be the norm in Scotland and may be just my North American expectations not being met. Not a big deal, just something to be aware of.”

The appartment offers everything you need, although we would have appreciated having more toiletttissue and tabs for the dishwasher. The location is fantastic, being almost on the sea front with spectacular views out to Bass Rock.The house had everything we needed, with a large well equipped kitchen and two lounges.We chose Guillemots because we needed ground floor living accommodation for Mum. Whilst she managed the ground floor room with en suite, it isn't particularly set up for a disabled person, and so anyone doing similar may need to take grab rails...

“This place was lovely. Clean and bright. Instructions to get in and once inside were very helpful. The only thing that bothered me was the 3 bins of glass bottles, mostly alcohol bottles that were over flowing onto the ground outside the gate, in the parking lot. They were there the day we checked in , already overflowing and only got worse as we stayed for 4 days. They should look into that because otherwise this place was everything we wantes while on our vacation. Lovely!!”
