The space This three bedroom, two bath home is situated on 1/3 acre, surrounded by large trees. Enjoy spacious parking in the driveway which is located behind the home. Parking is simple and easy, and located close to the back entrance. Large patio area, with teak table and chairs, string lighting, charcoal BBQ and fire pit. Large fully fenced yard with play house and jungle gym for kiddos to play.
Upon entry guests are greeted with beautiful wood kitchen counter tops, large copper sink basin, and lovely painted cabinets. Ceilings in kitchen are vaulted wood from its original construction nearly 100 years ago! The kitchen eating nook is cozy and comfortable, and three barstools available for extra seating for meals and visiting. Organic medium blend coffee by Big Sky provided along with both drip coffee pot and french press. Sugar and shelf stable creamer provide as well.
Continuing into the living room reveals unique, warm, down-to-earth decor that is both functional and welcoming. Artisan lighting and vintage accents are layered one over the other to create the perfect balance of simplicity and art. Live house plants add freshness and cheer!
Three bedrooms are located down the hall: >> The first has a queen-size bed, closet, two side tables and unique vintage metal dresser.
>> Second bedroom has two twin-size beds, closet with hangers, a 6 drawer dresser, baby changer, and pack-n-play. Children will find toys at the end of the hallway next to the room with two twin beds.
>> Master room is complete with wood frame king-size bed, foam mattress and topper, one 5 drawer dresser, closet with hangers, two lovely nightstands, lamps, cozy chair, and more plants! The alluring master bathroom is stocked with plush towels, double vanity, lighting with dimmer, and large tub.
Eclectic bohemian, midcentury-modern, and retro aesthetics throughout, along with ambient lighting make this home a fun and unique space for families, friends and loved ones to come together! Guest access Entire property including fire pit and yard games available for guests to use. No garage access at this time. Other things to note Back yard is uneven in some spots, and grass is a little patchy/weedy too. Without automatic sprinklers it can be hard to keep the yard super green in the hot summer months but we do water it 1-2 times per week!
Being that this home is on a large parcel surrounded by messy trees we ask that shoes not be worn inside as it tracks sap from the trees inside which is very difficult to remove.
At this time the front door is non-operational. The vintage lock was recently fixed, only to have it quit working again. We are currently shopping for a complete new door. There are still two entrances, the back door off back patio near parking, and the sliding door off master room.
The cooking stove light also stays on even when no burners are on or surfaces hot. We are also shopping for a new stove to install that will fit that space well.
Some parts of the home remain unfinished from the recent remodel. For instance there is currently no hood vent over cooking stove. The mudroom flooring has not yet been installed. Counters in the kitchen also need to be finished with a thick sealant to make smoother and keep particles from dropping through. For now please embrace the "rustic" nature of the home! Updates such as these are scheduled for the off-season.
