“Overall this was an amazing stay. We had a great weekend. Just for future renters, the space appears much bigger in the photos than it actually is. But it’s perfect for 2 people. It should also be noted that there is a shared entrance and no doors keep you secure from the owners possibly entering. However, the owners of the main home were not present during our stay so there were no issues. They also left us snacks!”

“The cottage was our home away from home for a week while visiting our cousin who is going to school at UM in Ann Arbor. The home is a short drive (25-30 min) from the Big House, so it was perfect for a UM football weekend. If you're looking for a quiet escape with EVERYTHING you could think to need for a week on the lake, this is it. Our family of 5 had an amazing trip out from CA. Can't wait to be back.”

“I was happy with my stay. The property is an old farm house that's been split into 3 different rentals, and I was in the smallest. “This property was absolutely perfect for our weekend stay. It is very aesthetically pleasing, and comfortable. The backyard is a perfect setting, with a fire pit right on the water. We sat out there and watched the big swans on the lake. The location was perfect. We attended the Michigan game and the travel to and from the stadium was short and no traffic. There were tons of places to eat that was close by. This property is at the top of my list of places to stay!!!”

“My sister and I were looking for a place we could just relax for Mother's Day weekend and this was the perfect spot. There was a coffee and tea bar complete with different flavored coffees and creamers, snacks, more toiletry options than I have at my own house, smart TVs in many rooms, and a hot tub to relax in. It was very clean, but also welcoming and homey. I definitely recommend this house for anyone who wants a comfortable, relaxed, chill getaway. I will be returning in the future.”

“The house is much larger than the pictures show. 3 large bedrooms upstairs and a 4th downstairs with large dining room, kitchen and living room. The view is spectacular as it is right on the lake. “This location is right across from a golf course so it was quiet. Be aware that at this time (May 5-10, 2024) there is road construction which makes Torrey Road a one way but that doesn't affect how nice this property is. It is a very pleasant house and we recommend it it to everyone. Plus, this location allows pets for you to bring along your fur baby!”

“The hosts went above and beyond putting up a Christmas tree for our Christmas stay. The house was clean with plenty of space, and plenty of dishes and pots and pans. Our sleeping arrangements were a bit odd due to toddlers, but we made it work. Host was super responsive! FYI the coffee maker is a Keurig.”
