Ehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Als wir ankamen war der Kühlschrank komplett gefüllt. Die Brötchen hingen jeden Morgen pünktlich an der Tür. Vor allem die zentrale Lage ist hervorzuheben. Wir haben unser Auto nach der Anreise nicht mehr bewegt.

Exactly as advertised - Coimbrã was a great location. We used it as a basis for day trips in all directions. Property was a great deal, parking easy and we enjoyed exploring Coimbra as well.

Loved Eduardo's place

The location was perfect for walking around and exploring the city. Eduardo provided lots of good suggestions, including where to hear Fado! It was fabulous. Having homemade bread and orange marmalade every morning was great. Sometimes, Eduardo takes a bit of time to respond to emails but hang in there, he will answer soon!

Refuge from a busy day of touring

The apartment was very comfortable. The beds were great, the kitchen had everything needed for meal prep./breakfast supplies including Delicious coffee and fresh bread provided each morning by the host. An overall comfortable stay !

Comfortable and good location

The apartment was very comfortable with a big bed and a large living space. We had all that we needed for our short visit to Coimbra. Our host gave us a map and showed us where to find points of interest. All was available by walking (but many stairs and steep roads). Each morning we had fresh rolls hanging on the doorknob. They also had homemade jam and breakfast items in the kitchenette. We were able to find free parking on a nearby street. I would recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to explore the university, botanic gardens and fado music.

The place is spacious, and good breakfast items are provided - as others have said, the daily bread is very good. It is walkable to most everything Coimbra has to offer, but beware of the hills!

Wonderful hosts and a great apartment

Very clean, centrally located apartment within walking distance of the university and botanical garden. Wonderful fresh bread delivered each morning and a refrigerator with the ingredients for a great breakfast. Eduardo and Luisa were very gracious and kind hosts who helped us with an emergency that arose while we were in Coimbra. We are so grateful for their kindness and generosity and plan to return next year. A lovely apartment and lovely people. We highly recommend.

Comfy and convenient

This was an excellent property…very clean, conveniently located near all of the major Coimbra sites! The checkin procedure was simple and we appreciated the information booklet and the fresh bread delivered every morning! Our only issue was that it was quite noisy at night! I sleep with earplugs any way so it didn’t bother me but my husband had difficulty sleeping. We still very much enjoyed our stay!

Wonderful apartment in great location

Perfect apartment for two people. Small living space with kitchen. The fridge comes stocked with eggs, cheese, meat, yogurt, milk, juice, and marmalade. There is coffees, tea, and cereal and Eduardo drops fresh bread off every morning. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom comes stocked with shampoo and body wash. The building is very sweet and the view is lovely. Location makes walking to all the sites easy. Eduardo even “reserved” a parking spot on the street in front of the building for us with his car.

Wonderful home and location

Wonderful Apartment in Coimbra!

Eduardo was the perfect host. We had high expectations based on other reviews and we were not disappointed! I just wish we could have stayed longer. Coimbra is a magnificent city. We did really enjoy the Old University but the highlight of our visit was the Santa Cruz Chapel. Thank you Eduardo! John and Jan

Beautiful Coimbra

Really lovely apartment only 10 mins walk from the old town. Eduardo was a perfect host (fresh bread delivered every morning!) and the apartment was clean and well looked after. Coimbra is a lovely place to spend a few days - we had an excellent stay.

Any questions before our arrival as well as during our stay were promptly answered. Once we arrived Eduardo was very welcoming & helpful. The apartment was not lacking anything & the fresh rolls delivered each morning went well with homemade marmalade & butter. Coffee also provided along with milk, OJ, eggs. Would highly recommend.

Central, Welcoming, and Superclean

Eduardo is a perfect host; helpful but not intrusive. The apartment we had was sunny, bright, clean, and beautifully appointed. (If you are sensitive to street noise, though, I would suggest an apartment off the road as the road is a busy one). The breakfast -- with fresh bread and lemons/oranges from the backyard trees plus homemade preserves + eggs -- was a simple delight + bonus. Would not hesitate to return to Eduardo and to Coimbra; everything about our whole stay was gracious + warm.

Great location and wonderful host!

We only stayed 2 nights in Coimbre but Eduardo was a fantastic host. We had read about the fresh bread in the morning and we were not disappointed. He even offered us fresh marmalade when we arrived. The location of the apartment was ideal, close to everything.
