O 'Story Studio' Coimbra Centro localiza-se na zona histórica da cidade de Coimbra, junto ao Arco de Almedina e a 450 metros da Estação Ferroviária Coimbra A, dentro da Cidade Muralhada. Este local é ideal para estadias de turismo e passeios pelas zonas históricas, como a Sé Velha, a Igreja de Santa Cruz e a Universidade de Coimbra.

O apartamento T1 garante uma estadia confortável, oferecendo serviço de internet Wi-Fi e TV com mais de 100 canais. Além disso, dispõe de uma varanda onde poderá tomar o seu pequeno-almoço e relaxar após as suas visitas aos monumentos e museus da cidade.

Almedina, também chamada "Alta", foi integrada na lista de Património Mundial da Unesco em 2013. A Sé Velha, onde se realiza a Monumental Serenata da Queima das Fitas, está a 160 metros do apartamento e a Universidade de Coimbra a 500 metros. Nas imediações, encontrará restaurantes, casas de Fado de Coimbra e comércio de rua, tornando-o muito conveniente para os hóspedes que desejam visitar a zona histórica da cidade.

Embora o estacionamento seja limitado e pago nas imediações do centro histórico, o parque público coberto mais próximo está a cerca de 600 metros, nomeadamente o Bragaparques.

Great Property in Hub of Old City

The property was terrific-- as described and as otherwise rated. Know to tell your Uber to take you to a nearby landmark and walk to the door-- it isn't accessible by car directly. Makes for a more pedestrian, quiet experience. Enjoyed it! Wonderful tub, shower, amd HOT water!

We loved Story Studio

I don’t think we could’ve found a better place than Story Studio for our week-long visit to Coimbra. A comfortably and tastefully furnished and decorated apartment, it’s in the historic center of town, with many popular entertainment sites and attractions within easy walking distance. Not to mention the half dozen plus restaurants and a chocolate shop within 50 m of the building’s front door. Even the three flights of stairs you have to climb give it a sense of place. (Tip: pack light. )Just as importantly, Marcia and Beatriz have seemingly given careful thought and attention to every detail of their guests’ stays, starting with the easy check-in and generous welcome basket. And the few ignorant questions I asked were quickly answered with tact and grace (Thanks again, Marcia).We hope to have the opportunity to stay at Story Studio again someday.

This place was incredible! Clean, comfortable and in a great location. The welcome basket was amazing and very much appreciated. The host was very responsive and helpful throughout my stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this apartment to other travelers.

Beautiful spot in Coimbra

This was a great property to stay in. Beautiful welcome basket, which was so appreciated after being drenched in the rain from the hosts. The unit was lovely and clean and right in a busy area with easy access to everything. The only concern I would mention is that the railing up the stairs was a bit shaky and might be a concern for those who have heavy suitcases or mobility problems . We had heavy bags but were able to get up and down the stairs! The restaurant next-door, Oak, was fantastic!

Clean and cute in the heart of Coimbra

Our second stay here. Great location. Clean and well equipped. We didn’t cook- so no comments on kitchen but looked good. Nice deck. Good communication. Lots of steps - Portugal is not made for folks with mobility challenges.

Coimbra Stay

Over the years, we have rented many VRBO properties. Without question, this was one of, if not THE best property we have stayed in. The renovation of the apartment was high end. No corners were cut. It is very well done. We only stayed one night but we wish we would have stayed longer. Not only is the rental property a great place but we thoroughly enjoyed Coimbra. A complimentary welcome basket consisting of milk, eggs, oranges, bread, cheese, water, coffee, and other items was provided. We rented five VRBO properties while in Portugal and none of the other properties provided this. We like to dine in occasionally and this was wonderful for our breakfast. The only downside is that parking was not very convenient. We found this to be true at four of the five properties we rented. There is no parking at the unit itself. You will need to park in a public garage. The management company provided us garage options. The garage we were in was a 5-8 minute walk away.

Très chic décor mais un peu trop minimaliste pour le confort. L’hôtesse avec qui nous avons communiqué uniquement par courriel et téléphone a été très aidante. L’emplacement est parfait.

Great location

As a solo traveler I felt very safe here even when I came in after dark .And that's a plus in my book .2 doors to get in which ads security. .very clean and spacious. 2 options on where to get off of train do yourself a favor take a cab it takes you up the hill can't take you all the way to the apartment since cars aren't allowed it's a short downward walk to room . Really to far from the train station pulling luggage and the taxie was well worth the 5 euro I spent. Then when you get to the apartment there is about 25 steps to go up and for me I would have had a hard time finding the place on my own the first time. Would definitely stay again if ever in the area. To the owners probably and extra dish towel or some paper towels would be a great addition. Owner was very helpful and responded very quickly.

Lovely Area, Thoughtfully Equipped Apt

Great kitchen, walking distance to University, water, shops, cafés, restaurants. Kind owner left books to read on Portugal and local touring sites. Comfortable, clean bedding and exceptional towels to indulge in deep bath after a day climbing the hills and stairs of the town. Only downside was a little active nightlife outside; but perfect if that is your scene. Great spot!

Great Space, Great Host...Fantastic Time

Conveniently and centrally located in Old Coimbra, we felt like we were in the middle of everything with a quiet and comfortable oasis to rest in. Close to busses and attractions we had no trouble getting around and enjoying the city. Eat at Ze Manel dos Ossos, treat yourself at Chocolateria Equador and enjoy the Fado echoing through the streets at night. Marcia is a very attentive and responsive host. Her generous spirit made our visit that much more pleasant. We recommend Story Studio and would definitely stay again.

We loved the location and loved the apartment! The alley was a little loud at night so o had to keep my bedroom windows closed. I didn’t like that since there’s no AC but other than that it was wonderful! Marcia, the hostess, was awesome!!

Nice Apartment

This is a comfortable apartment. It is spacious. There is a nice cubby style divider which is a great place to store all your cameras, hats etc. The bathroom is very nice. The kitchen is big and has enough basics to cook a simple meal. The host provided olive oil, salt, oregano, and green and herbal tea, as well as some small packets of vinegar, salt and pepper, and sugar. The appliances are new and function well. The deck space is nice; it is on the quiet back side of the apartment and overlooks other apartments and homes. The beds were comfortable. The wifi worked well. The host was good to deal with and prompt to answer questions. If you are reliant on a handrail for using the stairs, I would not recommend this apartment. As a previous reviewer noted, the railing is very loose and does not feel secure. We stayed on a holiday long weekend and, given how central the apartment is, there were a lot of celebrations going on and the street noise continued well into the middle of the night. Earplugs were needed to try to sleep.

Wonderful location ! Great apartment

This is a wonderful apartment in a beautiful location to walk just everywhere! I knocked one star off as we had a very small issue over function of the cooktop… that We had to solve ourselves. We did and were OK about it. Márcia is wonderful! She is responsive, helpful, caring and just a 5 Star host! Except for the little”speed bump” we say yea to this Coimbra apartment!!!!

Perfect stay in Coimbra!

The apartment is very nicely decorated, super clean and meticulously maintained. Wifi is included and works flawlessly. Kitchen has all you need, there's even a dishwasher. The location is the best in Coimbra, within walking distance of all the main attractions. Márcia is a wonderful host, super responsive to any needs you may have. We would not hesitate to go back!!!

Ideally situated property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment. It had all the mod cons for an ideal stay. As I said to Marcia we would have preferred a washing machine to a dishwasher as we generally eat out, but we really needed to clear some dirty laundry and we had to do that all by hand. I suggest you should get the view from a broader range of your guests. Just a health and safety concern of the building. The hand rail on the stairs leading to the apartment is inadequately braced/reinforced and will result in an accident in the future.
