“Lovely rustic pub / hotel. Room was great with the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in for some time. Kitchen was closed for refurbishment but only a short walk into the centre of the village. Good choice of cask ales in the bar. Will stop here again if work brings me back to the area”

The rooms are small but do what is needed and have always been clean. This is a proper traditional country pub and we need more of them!”

“We had a one night stay because of a local wedding so decided to stay overnight at the ship inn. Not disappointed at all. The staff was all polite bedroom clean food good..
