Casa rural de lujo en un entorno de pueblo histórico en el bosque de Dean

Una maravillosa oportunidad para alojarse en el pintoresco pueblo de Newland, ubicado dentro de un área de conservación. The Coach House está bien ubicado y equipado con un estándar muy alto para unas vacaciones con cocina y es adecuado para descansos activos o relajantes durante todo el año. Camine o vaya en bicicleta desde la puerta. El Ostrich Inn está a 100 metros de distancia. Nuestro objetivo es proporcionar un lugar de lujo para relajarse y disfrutar de los alrededores.

Hemos recibido el premio de oro de 5 estrellas de Visit England con la nueva incorporación de una cocina completamente renovada en 2018.

Se accede al alojamiento a través de un conservatorio adecuado para almacenar abrigos, botas embarradas y perros. ¡También hay un almacenamiento cubierto para bicicletas y lavaderos exteriores para limpiar bicicletas y perros!

En el interior hay dos salas de recepción. El salón superior ofrece una zona de estar con televisión de pantalla plana y reproductor de DVD y altavoces para iPod, además de un comedor con capacidad para ocho. También hay una caja de libros con una selección de DVD y libros y mapas locales.

La cocina totalmente equipada y renovada en 2018 con cafetera Nespresso, máquina para hacer pan, dos hornos y placa de inducción.
Se accede a la sala de lavandería por separado desde el salón superior.

El cómodo salón inferior contiene una chimenea y otros asientos además de otro televisor de pantalla plana.

Alojamiento para dormir es proporcionado por 3 amplios dormitorios. Cada habitación está amueblada individualmente con los más altos estándares con sábanas de algodón de 300 cuentas: 2 dormitorios están arriba y se accede a uno desde la planta baja. Las habitaciones constan de una doble, una doble y una con la opción de ser gemelas o dobles.

Hay dos baños, uno en la planta baja con w. c., lavabo y ducha y un segundo en el primer piso con w. c., lavabo, bañera doble, más una gran ducha separada.

Todas las habitaciones tienen calefacción central y hay acceso gratuito a internet wi-fi para aquellos que no quieren dejar atrás por completo el mundo de la tecnología.

TODA LA PROPIEDAD ES PARA NO FUMADORES.

El patio exterior está aislado con una zona de estar con barbacoa y jardín maduro, además de estacionamiento fuera de la carretera para un automóvil y almacenamiento de bicicletas cubierto. Más estacionamiento gratuito en la carretera disponible. Disfrute de cenar al aire libre en el hermoso patio, o simplemente siéntese y relájese con una copa de vino mientras escucha los búhos en los árboles cercanos.

La reserva semanal comienza un viernes.

October break

We just had a 4 night stay but it was a very pleasant experience. The Coach House is well laid out, especially for two sets of families. The beds are comfortable and the whole property is clean. It is ideally situated for walking locally and for visiting the sights.

Wunderschönes Cottage

Wir haben als sechsköpfige Familie unseren zweiwöchigen Urlaub im Coach House verbracht. Das Cottage ist total gemütlich, großräumig, detailverliebt und hat uns und unseren 4 Kindern absolut ausreichend Platz gegeben. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Küche ist super gut ausgestattet, der Esstisch im Wohnbereich sehr groß. Es gibt zwei Wohnzimmer mit Couch, Sesseln und zwei Fernsehgeräten, zwei Badezimmer, davon eins mit Wanne, einen Kamin und 3 Schlafzimmer mit viel Platz. Im Cottage stehen zahlreiche Flyer mit Ausflugsmöglichkeiten zur Verfügung. Sogar Spiele und Bücher stehen bereit. Im unmittelbaren Umfeld gibt es zahlreiche Aktivitäten für Familien. Wir konnten unseren zweiwöchigen Urlaub gut füllen. Besonders erwähnenswert ist, dass Alison uns am Anreisetag ein sehr leckeres Abendessen gekocht und einen Kuchen gebacken hat. Als wir nach 10 Stunden Anreise aus Deutschland angekommen sind, war der Tisch bereits gedeckt und das Essen war fertig. Für den folgenden Tag hatte uns Alison bereits das Frühstück eingekauft, sodass wir als Großfamilie ganz entspannt ankommen konnten. Vielen lieben Dank dafür. Wir haben uns sehr herzlich Willkommen gefühlt und können das Coach House jedem empfehlen, der einen entspannten Urlaub verbringen und die Natur genießen möchte.

Friends reunion in beautiful setting

This is a beautiful house in a picturesque village surrounded by stunning countryside. The house is really well equipped and comfortable with plenty of space for everyone. We did country walks from the house on both days we were there and the scenery was spectacular - there is so much to explore and enjoy in this area. I would thoroughly recommend this property and hope we might return there in the future.

Delightful cottage

A lovely furnished cottage with plenty of space for a family. Spotlessly clean and and furnishings very comfortable. Only drawback for us was that both double beds had soft mattresses, especially the main bedroom!!! Otherwise, perfect in every way!!!

Spacious and well equipped plus delicious cake!

A great base to explore the area from. The best equipped self-catering kitchen I've come across. Large bedrooms, great showers and enough living space to spread out and do your own thing if wanted (handy when holidaying with older children/teens). The only potential downside we found is that there are steps up and down throughout plus varnished wooden treads on the stairs, so it's a bit tricky for anyone who's less steady on their feet. Other great benefits of staying here include a delicious cake, speedy broadband and an electric car charge point.

Perfect property and location

My wife and I needed a good sized property located for easy access to the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. This property is perfectly located in a quiet village within easy reach of excellent walks and cycle routes. The Coach House is comfy, well equipped and in a quiet spot. The pub nearby did good food and is within 2 minutes walking distance. Overall a superb spot. The owners were on hand for enquiries and were very helpful.

Lovely getaway

A lovely house to stay in, for four OAP friends. We met up for lunch in the Ostrich and visited the church on our forst afternoon. We got out to Symonds Yat on our first full day and enjoyed sitting in the garden chairs in the late afternoon. The kitchen was easy to use, as we self catered for two nights. We visited Tintern Abbey on the next day and watched a falconry display, and then treated ourselves to a meal at the Ostrich on our last night. All very delightful things to do while we were there and we felt so at home, going back to the Coach House each day. Highly recommended.

Lovely property and location

The cottage is spacious and well appointed. The bedrooms are large and comfortable. The cottage was warm and cosy in the cold weather. We had everything we needed. A great stay! We would definitely go again.

Spacious, well equipped and comfortable property

Three huge bedrooms, very comfy beds and a warm house. It is in a lovely setting, not really a village, no shop but a lovely pub currently only open Thurs-Sun. Set in beautiful countryside and good walking.

Everything you need

Everything you could need was thought of and provided in the property. Plenty of equipment in the kitchen, so anything you needed had been thought of! Plenty of space, sitting areas, board games and 2 tvs. It was also lovely and cool inside when temperatures outside were in the 30s. Beautiful church opposite and a village pub within walking distance

Perfect Stay in an ideal location

Lovely property in a lovely location

We stayed for a long weekend and found the property to be absolutely ideal- it's full of character yet extremely practical. It housed our 3 couples extremely comfortably and we did all our own cooking as the local pub was temporarily closed

Great house and week walking and visting local area

Loved the location and the house was great. The Kids were able to have their own section away from the Adults! Great dog walks around the local area, and plenty of places to drive to and walk. Monmouth is close (12 mins away) and has take-out and good shops. Our host was super helpful and had great advice. House was very comfortable and well equipped. I would highly reccomend it. The village is small and no shops, so you will need to drive to get supplies, but plenty of shops and towns near by. Great host a very enjoyable holiday.

A fabulous weekend get-away

This is a perfect property for a family or a group of friends to stay in a stunning location. There is lots to see and do in the area and the house is great to enjoy in the evening after a great day out.
