“Very friendly, helpful staff. Had an excellent breakfast and, although I didn't eat in the evening, the menu looked very appealing. Good atmosphere in the bar and generous supply of tea, coffee and biscuits in the room. All in all a positive experience.”

It is clear that the premises had not been subjected to a health and safety impact assessment. For example, the showers were in the bath and no non-slip mats were provided. “Location was good , bed clean other than that dreadful. Carpet was filthy , no WiFi even though it said free WiFi , no hot water for the 2 days, bacon run out at breakfast, even thought was 9.15am no yoghurts , the tables were dirty and very sticky , whole place needs a complete re vamp, out dated , dirty , sadly won’t be returning”
