“This cottage is homey, clean, convenient and perfect. We adored it. We booked it as a place to crash after a family wedding and were blown away by how charming and well appointed it is. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely book it again if we were in the area.”

“Overall, this was a great little home base to explore the areas of Grass Valley and Nevada City. It was perfect walking distance to pretty much everything in downtown Grass Valley, including shops and restaurants. The area seemed safe, clean, and the neighbors were friendly with us. We loved how the Treetop Loft included a kitchen, laundry, and beyond. That seems perfect for people that like to be outdoors or if you wanted to cook to save some money. Pros: Great location, fair price,...

“What a wonderful place to stay for our first time visiting Grass Valley! Kyle and Sita were excellent hosts, and the property was beautiful and lively with gardens, cats, and color everywhere. The cottage we stayed in was super comfortable, clean, and cozy and was just what we needed for our weekend getaway. It was a quick easy walk into town but tucked away in a quiet corner which suited us perfectly. Thanks for a lovely time!”

“What can I say? This is our go to for our frequent visits. I almost want to keep it secret, but that would be impossible, because it is in great location, super nice interior decoration and comfortable and clean. Please keep it going!! We will be back and back and back!”

“Super cozy and spacious lodge, amazing hot tub/jets, quite easy to get to, and phenomenal communication/support (easy 10/10 there)! Grill worked wonderfully for cookouts + kitchen in particular pretty much had everything you would want. For the time being, keep in mind it is two full bedrooms and the couch, but the couch is really comfy (one of my friends insisted on the couch over the bedrooms bc it was that comfy), but that wasn't too much of a problem with our group of 4 :) Would love to...

“Property is very well kept and the secluded location makes for a slow start to the day with lovely cup of coffee or tea on either porch. My biggest complaint would be that the outdoor tubs were not heating up. There is very little lighting outside so if you want to soak at night, make sure you take your own lanterns or flashlights, and if you are elderly or have a hard time getting in and out of beds that are on the floor or practically on the floor, this might not be the spot for you. The...

“This property is such a gem! It's located in the country but is a short drive to shopping and other services. Wildlife around the property is abundant, as we saw deer, lots of birds, and a family of grey foxes. The house is clean, comfortable, and perfect for small family gatherings. The pool table was super cool and we appreciated having a washer and dryer in the kids room. We spent a lot of time on the large deck overlooking the property. The hosts were great! They were very attentive and easy...

“Kyle greeted us as we pulled in & assisted with my question on the lock code number system. Fun color scheme in this vintage cabin, AC worked well on this hot day & night, water pressure was very good.”

“This was my first time renting a Vrbo and it was really enjoyable. The house was very cozy and the perfect location for our golf trip around Auburn. The hosts were very good with communication and very professional. I would stay here again and recommend it to friends.”

“House was impeccably clean. Beds were very comfortable. All amenities were available, like kitchen gear, extra bedding and newly installed appliances and homewares. Our host was attentive, very quick to reply and kind. Great location in Auburn to access shops and main thoroughfare, yet very private, quiet and good neighborhood. I would recommend this house and host for anyone who’s looking for a stress-free and comfortable stay in Auburn.”

“We really enjoyed this place... it's close enough to Nevada City, but still far enough away from the busy downtown area.”

“This home was dirty. We book 2 people for 4 nights. The inside of the microwave was disgusting, the refrigerator had a stinky smell, and the floor was sticky, I wanted to clean out the microwave so I could use it, but there was only one half sheet of paper towel left on the roll and no others to be found. I couldn't find a mug for my tea, till I looked inside the dishwasher but honestly I couldn't tell if the dishes were clean or dirty. Yes we could have gone to the store and bought our own...

“Home was nicely decorated and comfortable. Very cute and clean. My boys enjoyed the basketball court and pickle ball too. We had a little issue with one of the air conditioner wall units and the host was able to get it fixed right away. Short walk to the lake, but be prepared it is uphill almost the entire way back. I suggest driving first to check it out. Overall very enjoyable. We would definitely stay again.”

“Adorable rental- love the view over the creek.”

“This is a lovely, spacious place within walking distance of the main town. It was clean and well-equipped. The host was very accommodating and friendly. ”

“Special property! Great location to be able to walk to town as well as feel like you are away as it’s tucked behind the river. Lots of cute nooks outside . Kelsey was very responsive and accommodating. She curated things very thoughtfully and personalized a welcome basket!”

“The house was perfect and just as described. The hosts were communicative and helpful. And the property was peaceful and beautiful. We felt like we were staying in a state park. ”
