Partena is a small, authentic hamlet set on a hill in the beautiful Val d’Elsa. It consists of just 18 houses, most of which are used by their owners as second homes or peaceful countryside retreats. This unique atmosphere gives Partena its original, private character and a wonderfully relaxed feel. A large shared pool is available for guests and offers welcome refreshment on warm days, as well as a lovely place to unwind.



The location is ideal for exploring the region. Colle Val d’Elsa, known for its long tradition of crystal glassmaking, is less than 15 minutes away by car and offers a good selection of shops, supermarkets and restaurants. Nearby is also the nature reserve Parco Fluviale dell’Alta Val d’Elsa, home to the popular SentierElsa walking trail, which is perfect for walks and picnics. The famous town of San Gimignano, with its medieval towers, is only around 23 km away. Siena, Florence, as well as the charming villages and wineries of the Chianti, are all within easy reach. Partena is therefore an ideal base for those seeking peace in nature while also discovering the cultural highlights of Tuscany.

About the villa

Il Sole e la Luna is a charming ground floor holiday apartment with a pretty garden and a sheltered dining terrace, pleasantly screened from the neighbouring houses by hedges. It provides a lovely setting for relaxing and enjoying meals outdoors. Inside, wooden beam ceilings, partly exposed natural stone walls and comfortable furnishings create plenty of Tuscan charm and a warm, homely atmosphere.
