Rooms are dated. Initial allocation in 2nd floor - lot of road noise, smelly bathroom, AC does not sit at right temperature, mosquito or similar in room. I had booked early checkin but night/early morning reception duty feined knowledge and made a fuss that all rooms were booked etc. Did not give me receipt for early checkin payment until requested.
Day reception ladies were brilliant and helpful and held the hotel name up for me.
Management must update rooms and remind staff of duties and be consistent. Buffet staff must not engage in conversation with guests to the point of slight irritation while eating. Staff in general are pleasant.
Having seen Sapphire as a landmark hotel, I want it to succeed and my comments are meant for improvement only. All the best.
