    The Space:

    "Always Somerset" is a warm and inviting escape, offering everything you need to enjoy COS. Bring the whole family, including your pets, and spread out in this spacious split-level home with six bedrooms and three baths. With multiple gathering spaces, sun-drenched outdoor areas, and many convenient amenities, you may never want to leave! If you do decide to explore the city, you’ll be centrally located just blocks from UCCS and enjoy short drives to many local attractions.



    Pull up to the large driveway and enter the impressive 2,000+ sq ft space. The split-level foyer gives the option to go downstairs to the basement level or upstairs to the living room, kitchen, and first two bedrooms. Hang your jackets on the coat rack or take off your shoes on the bench before heading to one of the main areas. Upstairs, you'll find a roomy, light-filled family room with a large sectional, a flat-screen TV, and an electric fireplace heater for extra warmth.



    The open layout leads to the dining room, featuring a large 8-person table. The big windows provide second-story views and create tons of natural light. The dining table is set with placemats, plates, and utensils, ready for your meals. The kitchen, adjacent to the dining room, is fully stocked with stainless steel appliances and meal-prepping essentials. Coffee lovers will appreciate the mini coffee bar with a coffee machine, coffee grounds, mugs, and sugar.



    Down the hall from the kitchen is the first bedroom, which has a king-sized mattress, a TV, and plenty of storage. The second bedroom on this floor is similarly equipped, with a mounted TV, bedside tables, and a dresser. Both rooms are decorated with charming touches and fresh linens. A third bedroom on this floor has an en-suite bathroom with a shower/bath combo, a king-sized bed, a vanity dresser, and two closets.



    The lower level of this home features three more bedrooms and two bathrooms. A second family room is furnished with futon couches, a 70-inch TV, an ottoman, and a table with chairs. A stove fireplace with a brick mantel adds a cozy touch. There’s also a sliding door that leads to the outdoor patio. The downstairs bedrooms are similarly styled and equipped with all necessary amenities. One bedroom has a king-sized bed, a TV, and a private entrance through a slider. The other two bedrooms have queen-sized beds and closet space. A full bathroom is attached to one of these bedrooms, featuring a walk-in shower and washer/dryer unit with laundry essentials. Another full bathroom with a walk-in shower and large vanity completes the downstairs.



    Access the outdoor spaces through one of the slider doors on the lower level or down the stairs on the side of the house. The backyard is designed for enjoyment in sun or snow, with a grill and an outdoor dining table. Despite the home's central location, it feels private and secluded from neighbors. Let your dogs run around the fenced backyard without any worries of them escaping. Additional chairs are provided so your whole group can enjoy the outdoors together.



    This home also features multiple gathering spaces, ensuring everyone has a place to relax. The large sectional in the upstairs family room is perfect for watching TV or enjoying the view from the large windows. Downstairs, the second family room with futon couches and a stove fireplace is ideal for game nights or cozying up by the fire.



    Each bedroom is thoughtfully designed to provide maximum comfort. The main bedroom upstairs has six windows for plenty of natural light and a king-sized bed for a restful sleep. The second bedroom is equally comfortable with its own TV and stylish decor. The third bedroom with an en-suite bathroom offers added convenience and privacy.



    The lower level continues to impress with three additional bedrooms, ensuring everyone has their own space. The second family room's futon couches can be used as extra sleeping spaces if needed. The private entrance in one of the bedrooms downstairs allows for added convenience and flexibility.

    Guest Access:

    All guests will need to complete our secure, online ID Verification process to receive the door code and check-in instructions. Similar to hotels requiring photo ID upon check-in, we ask that guests provide a copy of their Government Issued ID, matching selfie and credit card to verify identity. This is used to prevent fraudulent reservations, identity verification and for the safety of all guests and homes. We take data security very seriously. All information entered into this form is encrypted and transmitted securely over SSL.

    The Neighborhood:

    Positioned in a quiet, safe, and easily accessible neighborhood, “Always Somerset” is in a location that can’t be beat. This home is located in a community called Cragmor, an area between Templeton Gap and Austin Bluffs in Northeastern Colorado Springs. The closest recreational area is Danville Park, just a 5 minute walk or Portal Park, a 2 minute drive away. The University of Colorado Colorado Springs campus is also within close proximity, about a three minute drive or a 15 minute walk! For golf enthusiasts, the public Patty Jewett golf course is just a few miles away, with incredible views and a true hidden gem of a restaurant and clubhouse … be sure to bring your golf clubs! For close-by dining and shopping options, check out The Upper Room Coffee House, Greek and Grace boutique, or Roadrunner Pizza.

    ~There is a $500 fine for every unauthorized guest

    ~No Smoking - we charge a $1000 fine for smoking



    - We require a refundable hold of $1000 on your card for damages (released after checkout) OR you can opt out with a small fee of $50 by purchasing a damage waiver coverage to stay insured throughout your stay.





    -Please review the sleeping arrangements prior to booking.

    -Please keep all trash secure in the bins. Do not leave any trash out overnight for your safety and the surrounding active wildlife in the city's area.

    -The TV's offer streaming services only for guest's to use their subscriptions. Just don't forget to log out!

    -We do not have onsite maintenance or cleaning unlike hotels but all requests will be taken care of ASAP.



    Type of Cooling for the Home:

    -Central AC units are best kept at 68 degrees or above. Due to the lack of humidity in the area if the thermostat is lowered below 68 degrees it is possible that it can freeze the unit if it is working too hard. Unfortunately, it will take 24 hours for the unit to defrost before an HVAC specialist can service it. Our evenings are generally cool in the summer time, simply opening the windows will provide extra natural coolness.



    Security Cameras:

    -There is a security doorbell and a security camera in the driveway. Please do not tamper with any security cameras.



    Dog Policy:

    -This house is dog friendly, Please be respectful of those who will stay after you by cleaning up all pet waste and disposing of it in the large trash bins. Thank you in advance!

    * Dogs are welcome for an additional fee ($75 per dog). 3 dogs max. All dogs must be approved before check in. No other animals are permitted unless they are service animals. There are no charges for service animals.



    -We provide fresh sheets, towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and essentials like shampoo, soap, toilet paper etc.

We traveled for 12 days in 4 different rental properties. This one Dirty dishes, the outside patio is good bit it too needs a a good scrub down and the place needs a good over all cleaning. Comfortable beds but the place is a little “tired.”

Very Comfortable for Large Family

This was a great house. Bedrooms were spacious and beds were wonderful. Kitchen was well stocked with easy access storage. Our family of 10 adults and 3 children had plenty of room to play and relax. Backyard was quiet and secluded, firepit s'mores were enjoyed by all. Property management was quick to respond to questions and were very helful. I highly recommend this rental.
