    The Space:

    Welcome to your Colorado Springs sanctuary! Our expansive three-story, five-bedroom home is designed to offer you and your group an unforgettable stay. From the moment you step inside, you'll feel the warmth and comfort that makes this house a true home away from home.



    The master bedroom is a luxurious retreat where elegance meets relaxation. Sink into the king-sized four-poster bed, and let the day's stress melt away. This room also features a walk-in closet, bedside lamps, and a ceiling fan for your comfort. The en-suite bathroom is truly special, offering a large tub and an expansive mirror, creating a spa-like atmosphere where you can unwind in style.



    The second bedroom is equally inviting, with a cozy double bed and a comfortable chair, making it the perfect spot for restful moments. The third bedroom is a peaceful retreat, featuring both a twin and a double bed, with calming white walls and a ceiling fan to keep you cool. The stylish fourth bedroom is adorned with beautiful blue walls, paired with elegant white queen bedding, and also includes a ceiling fan and dresser. The fifth bedroom combines comfort with functionality, offering a serene space with a king bed, desk, and chair—perfect for those who need a quiet workspace during their stay.



    There are three distinct living areas, each with its own unique charm. The first living area is a beautifully arranged space with a piano and a comfortable couch, perfect for relaxing with a book or enjoying some music. The second living area features a cozy fireplace and a 55-inch television, making it an ideal spot for movie nights or simply gathering with loved ones. The third living area is a vibrant family room, complete with a plush couch, a 85-inch flat-screen TV, ping pong table, bubble hockey table, darts, a bar, and direct access to the yard—this space is all about fun and entertainment.





    For your convenience, there's a dedicated office with a computer table, ergonomic chair, printer, and large window offering a serene view. Cooking is a breeze in our fully equipped kitchen, where you'll find all the cookware essentials you need to prepare delicious meals. Whether you're whipping up breakfast or hosting a dinner, this kitchen has you covered.



    Throughout the home, you'll enjoy high-speed WiFi, central air conditioning, and heating to ensure your stay is comfortable no matter the season. We provide all the essentials, including a full bathroom stocked with towels and soaps, and an in-unit washer and dryer with an ironing station to keep you feeling fresh and ready for anything.

    Guest Access:

    Guests are granted complete access to the entire residence, except for the garage, which remains inaccessible for guests. For your convenience, a self-check-in system is in place, facilitated by a smart lock that utilizes an exclusive code designated solely for your use.



    We cannot guarantee an early check-in before 4pm as we need time to make sure this property is perfect for you before your stay! Please message us on the day of your arrival to see if the property is ready no earlier than 2pm.



    Check-in Process: All guests will need to complete our secure, online ID Verification process to receive the door code and check-in instructions. Similar to hotels requiring photo ID upon check-in, we ask that guests provide a copy of their Government Issued ID, matching selfie and credit card to verify identity. This is used to prevent fraudulent reservations, identity verification and for the safety of all guests and homes. We take data security very seriously. All information entered into this form is encrypted and transmitted securely over SSL. By completing the reservation you agree to the following:

    1. I agree to be bound by our rental terms and conditions.

    2. I acknowledge that I will be required to provide a copy of a valid government issued ID and matching credit card through our online portal prior to check in.

    Getting Around:

    We recommend that you have a car or use Uber or Lyft when traveling in the Pikes Peak Region. We're happy to provide bus schedules and maps too if you'd like to use public transportation.



    Other Things to Note:

    ~There is a $500 fine for every unauthorized guest

    ~No Smoking - we charge a $1000 fine for smoking



    We require a refundable hold of $1000 on your card for damages (released after checkout) OR you can opt out with a small fee of $50 by purchasing a damage waiver coverage to stay insured throughout your stay.





    AGE REQUIREMENT: The main guest must be at least 21 years old. We cannot accommodate guests who do not meet this age requirement unless prior approval has been granted our team before check-in.



    NO SMOKING inside.



    Quiet Hours begin at 10:00pm per city ordinance. Please be courteous of the neighbors during your stay.



    This property maintains a no-pet policy for the comfort and convenience of all our guests.



    Type of Cooling for the Home

    Central AC units are best kept at 68 degrees or above. Due to the lack of humidity in the area if the thermostat is lowered below 68 degrees it is possible that it can freeze the unit if it is working too hard. Unfortunately, it will take 24 hours for the unit to defrost before an HVAC specialist can service it. Our evenings are generally cool in the summertime, simply opening the windows will provide extra natural coolness.

    This video footage is not shared and is recorded for liability reasons in the cases of a break-in, death, injury and in no way infringes upon the guests’ expectations of privacy in these public areas of the property. Any attempt at disabling or obscuring the cameras is prohibited.



    Reminders About the Property

    -Please review the sleeping arrangements prior to booking.

    -Please keep all trash secure in the bins. Do not leave any trash out overnight for your safety and the surrounding active wildlife in the city's area.

    -We do not have onsite maintenance or cleaning unlike hotels but all requests will be taken care of ASAP.

Family vacation

Our entire family (6 adults and 2 grandkids - 15 &18) had a wonderful time at Academy Basecamp. The house was clean the view from the back deck was beautiful and the location was in a very nice, quiet neighborhood which was near all of the things we needed (grocery, Walmart, Starbucks etc) There was also plenty to do with ping pong/pool table, 2 TVs and a large assortment of games. We would definitely to this one again if we go o back to this area.

Great house close to Colorado Springs

Nice house in a quiet neighborhood. Property was very clean. The location was easy for us to travel to where we visited….Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds, Old Colorado City, Denver, Castle Rock outlet mall, etc. Nice grocery store nearby and a Starbucks nearby too. We had one issue which was taken care of quickly by maintenance. The boys loved the basement with the pool table and the hockey table.

Family visits

We have a son in Denver and a son/daughter-in-law in Colorado Springs. We rented this home to be local to both of our children and their families and this house was the perfect location. This host was wonderful to work with, very communicative and amenable to early check in with plenty of notification. The house was the perfect size for accomodating all of our family plus a couple of friends that stopped by for a visit. Everything was pristine, well stocked and well thought out. The check out process was so easy and thoughtful as the host specifically does not task up the renters with a lot of check out duties. We always leave any home that we stay in as good as or better than we found it and these hosts made it sooo easy. We would definitely stay here and also recommend to other of our friends and family.
