Sweet cabin with everything we needed for a quiet, peaceful long weekend in the mountains to celebrate our 38th anniversary. Erin is so attentive and gracious! Truly, she has thought of everything and her communication is amazing. We hope to come back in the spring with our daughter, her husband and their young children.

Amazing Stay

This home was so cute and just like the photos. Check in and check out were a breeze, and the host was communicative and helpful. We loved the proximity to all of the activities that we wanted to do, and the town was so neat! We had a great time and would recommend it to anyone going to that area.

Adorable getaway with rustic charm near small town

We loved watching the magpies and deer outside the window. The cabin was in a prime location near Manitou Springs where we could literally walk to gift shops and restaurants and a lake with a gazebo but still have mountain views and watch wildlife. It was quiet and cozy and it had everything we needed for the best family vacation we have ever had. Thank you!

Erin, our host was a delight to communicate with for ideas and quick to respond to any questions. Moonrise Cottage is the perfect location to all things around Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs. The people were very friendly in Green Mountain Falls. Across the street are two good restaurants: The Pantry for breakfast and lunch; Cantina Verde for dinner. Three retired teachers felt safe and enjoyed our visit to Colorado. P. S. Take the Cog Railway to the top of Pikes Peak, Adventures Out West for a fun jeep ride through Garden of the Gods, visit the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and tour the Cave of the Winds. We will return

Let me just say we have stayed in many VRBO’s but this one takes the cake!!! There is absolutely nothing Erin has not thought of. This didn’t just feel like a place we were staying but home away from home, kitchen fully stocked from appliances, pots and pans, bake ware, all the cooking utensils even for the grill. Spices, coffee, teas. We had fans, extra blankets and towels - it was amazing. Next visit is a hiking trip with the girls! Can’t wait to rebook!!!!

Great getaway!

We drove out from Texas for a long weekend getaway and this cabin was the perfect home base. It’s tucked away in a cute town between Manitou Springs and Woodland Park. It was the perfect size for our family of 5–not too big, not too small—and had everything we needed. We loved working a puzzle together and streaming movies in the living room. We walked across to the shops and restaurants. We ate at Cantina Verde, Blue Moose, and the Pantry and all were delicious. We visited Bones, Stones, and Wood just about every day to shop and visit the shop kitty. It was such a fantastic trip. I wish we didn’t have to go home!

Best Birthday Snow Vacay Ever

My daughter absolutely LOVED this home for her 6th Birthday. We had special visits for the deer and plenty of snow. Everything was great there and we really enjoyed our stay!

Peaceful Cabin Close to the City

The house was extremely clean. The cleanest rental we have ever had! Th3 location is right in Green Mountain Falls, walking distance to the restaurants and many trails. Close enough to the city but located in a small town for a peaceful relaxation. We felt very safe and comfortable in the town and house! The house had everything needed from a collection of teas to any spice you would want. We ended up cooking every meal there. Erin has thought through everything you would need/want in a rental. The communication was fantastic with her as well! We will definitely rent here again!

Leave your stress at home

This property was exactly what I and my family needed for a weekend to get away from the hustle and bustle of a busy life! Check in was painless and Erin was available for any needs or requests we had and her recommendations are on point. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Mountain house

We really enjoyed our stay. We love that it is steps from restaurants and a playground/greenspace. It’s an art lover’s town so we enjoyed seeing various art pieces around the town. I cooked every night at the house so I really appreciated a stocked kitchen. I love to drink tea so was very happy to see a tea kettle and a selection of tea. The house was very nicely decorated and was very comfortable. My girls enjoyed all the toys. The deer outside the window at night was as a highlight. We would stay again if in the area.

Relaxing stay with friends!

We relaxed and numerous walks around the area. The park and the Breakfast brunch restaurant nearby is a fav of ours. We also love The Judge’s grill is a favorite. The cabin was so clean inside and we enjoyed games, visiting and watching deer roam the property every day. Well equipped cabin in kitchen and baths! Thank you so much for the lovely stay!

Superb stay and great house

From the pet toys to the comfiest mattress, from the kids books to the modern amenities throughout the house - every details of our stay was impeccable and thought through... Great house, host and location

House was perfect for me, my wife and youngest son. Host was excellent with great communication from start to finish of the process and stay. Location of the house could not be better if you want to enjoy Green Mountain Falls area. We would no doubt stay again. One of my best experiences renting a VRBO.

Great mountain getaway!

This property was perfect for our family stay. Very clean. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything to cook any meal. Beds were comfy. Quiet community. I have no complaints whatsoever.
