10/10
This is a wonderful little getaway. Neighbor is sweet and their tiny farm was fun to take in while relaxing on the newly remodeled back deck. The spiral stairs are very narrow and not the easiest to navigate. Plenty of wildlife sightings and Colorado adventures to be had. Be advised though if planning on taking in Manitou Springs during this time of year around 11-2pm. The city was packed and the traffic was atrocious. Every single parking lot full and it took more than an hour of circling the city to find a place. Also if planning on participating in the Cog Train ride do not arrive more than 40 min before your ticket and expect to have a place to park. Suggestions would be pick a time early in the day, park in Manitou, then take the city tram to the train station. That way you can enjoy everything without traffic issues. Also please check all websites and/or call for tickets or reservations. This includes any attraction or restaurants, and do your best to plan more than a week in advance for places like the Coors tour or Football stadium tour. Highly recommend the Cog Rail tour, Discovery tour at Cave of the Winds, The Pantry, and Saltgrass Steakhouse.
