“Wonderful attention to detail-such as laundry detergent for the washing machine, welcoming gifts in fridge-chocolate and breakfast oatmeal. We took a 3 week trip-this was the best accommodation! Our only regret is not meeting the proprietor. Thanks for the great stay.”

“Great location and well maintained lodge with friendly staff. The main downsides are: there is a big difference between the marketing on the website and reality (no hiking options unlike advertised, very limited restaurant menu unlike advertised), the room was full of mosquitoes which drove us crazy and the staff was not very knowledgeable about the area and couldn’t answer any of our questions. ”

We were tired, grumpy, and all around in pretty sour moods, but that turned around completely when we got to this place. The owner was so, so kind and welcoming and the facilities were perfect. They were clean, comfortable, and very inviting. We only stayed one night, but would definitely come back and stay here again.”
