This was an ideal place for our two-week stay while visiting The James, at The Ohio State University. The location couldn’t be better, parking was hassle-free, and loved having many restaurants within walking distance. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay.(obviously didn't use the pool as it was December. Not sure we even looked at it)

Has potential - needs to be cleaned thoroughly

I would like to preface my review to say this property has potential but needs a few things done to it, especially if pets are allowed. Mainly replace (a hard surface flooring throughout would be ideal) or thoroughly clean carpeted area frequently. The location is great and the property is nice, if properly maintained. Aside from (assuming) pet-stained carpet in living and bedroom areas, there was mold in the shower, broken toilet paper dispenser and the shampoo sample was 1/2 open/used. The worst stain we discovers on the last day, a large stain on the bed’s comforter, which was hidden by a blanket over the bed.The property management was notified and, to their credit, attempted to be accommodating but given what needed to be done, there was little they could do to address during out 2- day stay.If suggested changes could be made, I would recommend this property. However, due to the condition of the carpeted areas and the shower. I would not.

Great property with amazing amenities, the properties are really cozy and new, really no complains at all, also the quality of service and support is excellent. Highly recommended if you are in the area, also really close from Columbus downtown.

The property was enjoyable, mostly clean. The bathroom could use some work towel. Rack bar was missing a few loose tiles and hair all over the floor. The salt lamp in the bedroom did not work, which was a little disappointing but overall this stay was wonderful. It’s definitely like a home away from home And we were very comfortable there. Thank you so much.

Overpriced

We booked a weekend stay at the view on fifth through vrbo. To say that instructions were unclear from the beginning is an understatement. I received a message with check in instructions the morning of check in. Once we arrived, we found our lockbox but it was missing items that the message had said would be there and we would be charged if they weren't returned. Thankfully, they were quick to respond to my message about the missing items to lessen our panic. Also, don't try calling the number they have listed in the room, no one will answer and the voicemail box is full. The apartment was clean for the most part. I did find a lot of crumbs in-between couch cushions, stains on the couch, and a large buildup of dust on the walls. There was only one partial roll of toilet paper in the bathroom that thankfully lasted us the weekend. The towel rack on the wall by the shower isn't usable. The moment I touched it to hang a towel for my shower, the bar came right off the wall. Also, replacing a nail in the OSU sign above that rack would only take a couple minutes. *insert eye roll* I would also strongly suggest that they consider leaving a map of the building in the unit. Mark the Holly Ave entrance as a good place to pick up doordash orders or Uber pickups and give a map of the route to get there. The building is a maze and hard to navigate the first day arriving there. I enjoyed my weekend away but will not be staying at any property managed by this company again.

Simple & Efficient Accommodations

This was my first time staying at The View on 5th Ave. This building is an apartment complex with some units being used via VRBO. I had the pleasure of staying in a 1 bedroom fully furnished apartment with a private balcony overlooking the common area/pool. The space, amenities, and price are truly unmatched for this location and will stay here again. I did notice I didn’t have a table or desk in the unit and contacted mgmt and they had one in the unit next day. Given it’s an apartment you might experience some neighboring noise but I only noticed this from the above unit twice and it was not a problem for me at all. I found all of the staff to be courteous and helpful in every aspect of the process. Having experienced a couple minor hiccups, I’m happy to report that the staff was eager to remedy everything to ensure a quality stay. I travel to Columbus, OH a few times a year and will likely stay here every time moving forward.

In town to visit son who is at OSU. Apartment close to west side of campus and so easy to drive and Uber/Lyft from. Worked on Friday and place was quiet. Saturday after game came back for relaxing time at pool before dinner. Will be back.

Perfection

We traveled to Columbus from NY for a concert at “The Shoe”. The apartment is exactly like the pictures shown. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The balcony, pool, and hot tub were a great bonus. The location is fantastic and close to great food, local shops, night life, and campus/stadium. I definitely recommend and would stay here again!

Property is very clean and cozy. Location is great in order to go off and explore Downtown Columbus. Plus there are food locations super close by that are really solid. Will definitely try to stay there again if I'm able

The location was more than perfect for our stay. Very convenient to museums, medical facilities. The unit was clean and in a quiet building. Nice common space for all to use. Any concerns were address in a matter of minutes. There is on site person to handle any questions you may have. Will stay on our next trip to Columbus

Perfect Staycation space

Studio size, nicely furnished, comfortable. Perfect for my husband and I. We are local and needed to be close for family get-togethers but wanted the feeling of vacation. Pool, Hot tub and sky loft were perfect additions upgrading just an apartment feeling. Great location - not just for our family outings but also for shopping and dining very close. Definitely recommend!
