Host has great communication for check-in, check-out, and other details throughout the stay. Also had great responsiveness if we had any questions throughout the duration of our stay. The house itself was beautiful and well maintained. Myself and all of the guests were absolutely blown away. I would highly recommend this property and if we are ever back in Columbus, we will be staying here again.

Unfortunately the house was not clean, none of the TVs worked, sinks were slow to drain, not enough silverware for a large house, pans were not provided for the induction stove. What was nice were the mini fridges in every room.

Pros: The house was large and accommodated guests. It was nice to have a bathroom for everyone. The house was close to High Street which has fun things to do and restaurants. The house overall was clean. Cons: One of the rooms did not have electricity. It seemed like maybe the fuse box should be checked. There also was not hot water in some of the restrooms. When I notified the host just to make them aware, at first they were nice and stated they would send someone. When I asked for a status update, they stated that I was making things up, told me I should leave as I only wanted a discount (which I never asked for). I was truly taken aback and had to notify VRBO of the treatment of the host. They could have sent a representative before escalating to disrespect.

Good property - lacked some attention to detail

Easy check in and property manager communicated well. Hosted 9 easily. Good parking. Barely enough bath towels (even though property can accommodate more than 9), no hand towel in 1/2 bath, broken shower handle in one shower and tall weeds/grass on front yard. Just a little more attn to detail and the place would be great!

Perfection!

Amazing property with great design. Plenty of room to spread out and get away. Stayed with a group of co-workers for a conference in town. Loves the amount of rooms with private baths in them, worked out well. Also great work spare with board room and home office. We had a great time and would stay there again for sure

Spacious unique property in great location

We really enjoyed the house over all. Very spacious and in a convenient location. Our only issues were that the tvs in the bedrooms did not seem to work and when we queried about it did not get a lot of help from the host. Also a number of things were broken like a table, towel hooks, toilet paper holders.

Family Wedding

We booked the Buckeye Retreat Mansion for a family wedding in Columbus. There are 7 large bedrooms with an ensuite bathroom which provided space and privacy for each family. The first floor bedroom has a low double bed. The height is similar to a toddler bed. It was too low for a comfortable night sleep for an “older” person. Pros: the property is spacious, each bedroom has its own bathroom, large gathering room with two separate offices, third floor is a separate “apartment,”

Lacrosse Families Unite

We found this property to house 4 individual families (1 parent and 1 son) for 2 nights while our boys played at a lacrosse camp at OSU. The accommodations and functionality were excellent! The teenage boys had their space on the 3rd floor and the adults had their common area on the 1st level and we could all seek solitude within our private bedrooms if need be. Having our own bathrooms was also wonderful!! The location was convenient to the expressway and the neighborhood appears to be up and coming with lots of renovations. We walked through the neighborhood and there were young families outside with their children. Communication with owner was quick and efficient. I would highly recommend this gorgeous home when you are in the Columbus area.

Perfect for large groups/multi families

This place checked all of our boxes for our multi family vacation! Everybody was able to have their own room AND bathroom/shower which was incredible! This definitely gave us the privacy feeling of having your own hotel room while still being able to be all together as a group. We were able to host our family that we were visiting for dinner and they even commented on how beautiful and spacious this place was and will be looking to book it for family events in the future. The host Pri was very quick to respond to all of my questions as well. We would definitely book again on future visits.

Weekend Getaway with Friends

We had 4 families staying together for a weekend getaway. The house worked out perfectly for us. We had plenty of space and were very comfortable. The host was very quick to respond to all my messages from first booking the property until checking out. We would stay at the house again.
