Great Stay!

We had such a great stay! The cabin was cozy and cute, and felt just like a retreat. The hot tub was a fantastic bonus, perfect for relaxing. We especially appreciated the peaceful, private location right by the water—it was the ideal spot for unwinding. Check-in was smooth, with great communication throughout.

If you're looking to escape the noise of everyday life, this cabin is absolute perfection. Tucked away on a serene pond, it offered the kind of peaceful atmosphere I didn’t know I was craving. The only sounds were birds, the gentle rustle of trees, and the soothing ripple of water.The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and stocked with everything we needed. Whether sipping coffee on the porch at sunrise or stargazing by the firepit at night, every moment felt like a reset for the soul. We had a great time fishing as well.I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone who needs a quiet getaway to recharge and reconnect—with nature or just themselves. Already planning my next trip back!

Wonderful lake lodge.

We had a short stay so were not able to enjoy the fishing opportunity. We may come back for that someday. All in all we had a nice stay, enjoyed the atmosphere and the hot tub.

A quaint getaway

Loved the property. Private getaway right on the lake. Enjoyed the hot tub and fishing off the dock. The fire pit was great to have but unfortunately it was too windy to use it this time.

Perfect, Peaceful Retreat

I was looking for a place for a couple of days of solitude to pray, think, and write. This lodge fit the bill. Beautiful view of the lake, simple, quiet, and convenient. You feel like you’re out in the boonies, but Walmart is less than 5 mins away. James was a great and communicative host. Self check-in/check-out was easy. Highly recommend.

Nice getaway spot

Stayed in the cabin for a night, and it almost felt like a vacation from life! The lake was smaller than expected but lots of fish and the hot tub was a great touch.

Nice quiet spot

This was a relaxing spot to spend some slow time. We enjoyed the hot tub and the view from the deck. We also appreciated the distance between each of the units, it feels secluded. Traveler Tips: There's a Tractor Supply about 4 minutes away where you can grab charcoal and lighter fluid for the grill. Bring a fishing pole.

Great place to get some work done, relax or both

This is exactly as advertised. A quiet cabin by a pond. The cabin is nice and cozy. The bed was less than par but other than that it was great. Strong WiFi and fast access to fishing. The hot tub was a nice way to end the day.

Time away from the hustle & bustle of life!

Husband in great need of fishing - hobby he doesn’t get to do enough. Happily caught 40 fish & we had a fish fry. I enjoyed the hot tub & some fishing. But mainly the quiet, relaxing, secluded location of the cabin. (Walmart 3 minutes away was nice). Beautiful view sitting on porch in the cool breeze was mesmerizing. The host was quick to respond to any question before & during our stay. The ice, water, snacks, & extras made for an inviting welcome.

Peaceful Lake Cabin

My wife and I spent a weekend here. We enjoyed renting the jon boat for some fishing, grilled, and enjoyed the hot tub. Close to town for grabbing food to cook and forgotten items. Shower water pressure wasn’t great and the bedroom is small, but it was a nice getaway for us. We would definitely rent again.

The trailer was nice and decorated well. The medicine cabinet was mounted way too high and the sheets were not cotton. I sweated in the sheets and they slipped off the bed easily. Otherwise it was a very enjoyable experience. I would stay there again.

It was lovely and peaceful. A nice break from the city life.

It had everything we needed. The deck had Christmas lights that alone brought some of my holiday spirit back. Very cute. Hot tub on the deck looking at the lake, lovely. Only downside was renting the Jon boat for the one day it rained the entire day. :(

Relaxing Girls Night

We enjoyed our time spent here. Unfortunately we were not able to use the hot tub as the owner notified us in advance- although it was short notice we still decided to go and enjoy our stay. Owner was very apologetic and worked well with us to make sure our stay was nice. Overall it was great and we had a blast! Loved having water right outside our door. Perfect for fishing. Would recommend!

Great get away for no frills cabin. The description was accurate with necessities supplied. The owner was responsive and answered all inquiries. Fishing was a treat; caught bass, crappie, blue gill & sun fish. Enjoyed cooking on the grill and taking out the Jon Boat. Journeyed out each day with the highlight of our trip to our first rodeo in Ft Worth. We would definitely stay again.

Sweet Getaway

We loved our little cabin. Good sized living/dining space. We fished & my son hunted minnows. The hot tub was great. It was as if we were far in the country but all the convinces of town were 10 minutes away!

Amazing Stay

My husband and I decided to take a quick getaway for some much needed relaxation. We were not disappointed. The property is absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. We enjoyed fishing and caught quite a few bluegills, bass, and perch. This would be a great place to take little ones for their first fishing trip. The inside of the lodge was very clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. The living area has a comfy couch and recliner to relax on while watching a huge smart tv. The kitchen has everything you need to cook any type of meal. I appreciated the Keurig, since I only drink one cup of coffee in the morning. The bedroom was cozy with a comfortable bed. The property is only 1.5 miles from Walmart. We did use the hot tub for a bit. Unfortunately, it was just too warm out to enjoy it very long. We also loved our visit with Diesel, the property pup. He is such a sweetie. Overall, this was a 10/10 getaway. We can’t wait to go back!
