“The inside of the room was lovely with new technology for door entry, lighting etc. and we loved the wildlife and farm animals. however the outside of the property was a total mess. It looked like lots of the buildings were falling to bits and the grounds were overgrown and not well kept the restaurant was permanently closed and the shared microwave in the corridor worked but there was no cutlery”

“Our stay was fine, and it was great to stay in a hotel with a pool. The location was good and easy to find. The staff were pleasant but perhaps not as knowledgeable or skilled as they should be- eg didn’t know what was on the children’s menu )they didn’t have any printed) and then brought her a different dinner, having to repeat our orders as they had forgotten. Male staff in the gym could have been more polite. On both days there were no towels available and it seemed to put them out that they...

Really big bathroom Very hot but it was a hot evening outside The check-in was weird because we were asked to pay £5 for parking which wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the booking process. Considering it’s a motorway services accommodation, there’s really no choice unless we parachuted in. The hotel should have the honesty to include it in the price at booking.”
