All of the amenities were so thoughtful from the cookies, the cozy bedding, instructions for all items like lights and appliances, you can tell this property was managed by an extremely thoughtful owner. “This home was epic! We were a party of eight adults. Tons of room, clean, well-equipped with just about everything one can think of. Games galore and a serene setting. One drawback is that we were a party of eight adults and there were only 2.5 bathrooms. It was a bit of a challenge trying to schedule showers for us all. “The cottage had all the basic necessities. It was incredibly quiet and peaceful at night and the hot tub was very therapeutic after a long day of hiking. The location was very convenient to travel to the Park. Also, there are two places within walking distance for coffee and breakfast sandwiches or pastries, or dinner in the evening. We didn’t even cook anything during our stay even though the kitchen was well stocked. ”

“What a terrific location to explore the Skagit Valley, Whidbey Island, Edison, Bow, Bellingham, Ferndale, and beyond! We even made it to Lake Diablo and Artist’s Ridge in the North Cascades. The house has everything! Our family loves the comfy living areas and well stocked kitchen. The linens and towels were great and everything was so very clean! We highly recommend this wonderful home! ”

“Was a lovely place to stay for some days riding at Mt Baker with the family. The host was great communicating the details and it was pretty much as close as you can stay to the mountain. There was a great trail we hiked with the dogs too. Only downside was the internet was very slow, I’d love to see them upgrade to Starlink so we could get our work done a bit quicker.”

“We really enjoyed our stay and Susanne was a great host. She was very prompt with any questions that arose. She even greeted us at the house and gave us a backstory to a rich family history depicted on photos hanging on the wall. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware, plates and cups. The gas fireplace was a nice touch to keep us cozy and warm. Very close to Mt. Baker for access to skiing/sledding. We would definitely stay here again in the future.”
