“Truly a gorgeous and spacious studio apartment with windows facing the quiet street and also the south side of the house. Access to washer and dryer a big benefit. Mike kept me informed of power outages in the area. An 8-minute walk (550 meters / .4 mile) to Stonestown Galleria shopping center (Whole Foods Market, Trader Joe's, many restaurants and stores). 450-meter walk to catch San Francisco buses. “Lupe was a wonderful host! She was warm and pleasant and was quickly responsive when we had questions. The rental unit was very clean and comfortably furnished. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking (among other things, we made baked French toast, chicken chili, and salmon curry). We got groceries at the Whole Foods. We had an amazing dinner at Luisa’s Italian restaurant followed by ice cream at Mitchell’s. We appreciated the generous quantity of snacks...

“This was a very nice place, close to our family and the West Portal area. Loved the colorful tiles especially in the bath. The walkway to the apt was a bit narrow and slanted, maybe a consideration for older guests. We are kitty lovers and visited with the resident cat on the front porch when we awaited our Uber. Five stars for us!”
