“My first impression upon meeting Mark and Wendy, and receiving their orientation to this beautiful accommodation, was “professional.”Immaculately clean. Attention to details. Thoughtful personal touches. They know how to please and how to impress. I highly recommend their place. The only reason I gave the location four stars is that for someone “directionally challenged” like me, it was not easy to find as I would have liked, just like every place in Ireland. ”

“Large and spacious room. Very comfortable. Didn't want get out of bed, it was so comfy. The host couple were amazing. The breakfast provided was stellar. Will definitely book again.”

“The accommodation is both a bar/restaurant and a b&b and sits next to the eastern pier about 400 metres from the ferry drop off. Despite my room being right above the bar - which was happy and full of chat - it was perfectly quiet in the evening. I had a great full Irish breakfast the next morning. Service was pleasant and friendly. Great!”

“We were not booked in via Vrbo ? Apparently it had to be done manually? Clearly the communication between Vrbo and The Ivy was not working, however a room was found for us, had to be changed from a double to a twin as per specifics of our booking. Newly decorated and carpeted room, very lovey, dated shower and NO mattress cover on the my single bed ? Yuk. Room not refreshed on day 2, no replenished milk/tea coffee etc. Despite this we were made welcome and the breakfast was lovely - thank you,...

“Gorgeous room overlooking the Diamond, which includes shops and restaurants. Beautiful castle 3 minute walk away. We can’t wait to go back! There are no elevators at this 3 story property, and the stairs are steep. ”
