“John, the owner and operator of this B&B was very welcoming and accommodating during our 3 night stay. Our room, #2, was charming (older) and very clean. We had a private bathroom and our window faced the road and offered a beautiful, pastoral view of the green fields, local horses, and far-off lakes. Breakfast (from 8:30 - 10:00 am) was delicious with eggs, link sausage, ham, porridge, breads, yogurt, etc. Parking was plentiful and only steps away from the entrance to the B&B. I recommend this...

“Es un hotel pintoresco y muy distinto a todo. No es en si un castillo sino una casona antigua que fue adaptada en 1969 como hotel dándole una apariencia de castillo. Las habitaciones muy buenas y hermosas pero las áreas comunes, estancias y pasillos requieren ya de un mantenimiento mayor.”

“The stay was comfortable and the gardens lovely. The drinks and barstaff great, reception great and friendly with advice on sight seeing. The room was comfortable and clean. There was a broken window pane and the furnishings were dated. Bed comfortable. The food was disappointing. I had a seafood chowder which was pretty good and the fish tasted fresh. the main was a steak that looked pale and was not cooked with lots of fat and gristle, the vegetables were overcooked. The desert tasted OK but...

“We arrived at Renvyle House Hotel and were met by three receptionists who were super friendly and helpful. They arranged for someone to carry our cases to our rooms. Our rooms were very comfortable and had lovely views of the sea. Dinner and breakfast were brilliant with fresh fruit and breads made on the premises. “Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....

“A bit on the pricey side given the location however the comfort, quality, service and overall experience was as good as expected for the price. Quiet location, a short drive to the centre, including a quiet room despite being situated above the bar/restaurant. Highly recommended.”
