The property is very new and well-appointed (except for no wine glasses or opener). I would have given this property an excellent rating except for the owner's reaction to a basic request. We were 4 adults staying, and we each had a strong reaction to a foul smell permeating both floors of the unit. I immediately shopped for a candle of sorts, but given the limited options in Cooke, nothing was available. So, I asked the owner if they might have something. She arrived at the unit and aggressively berated me, telling me there was no smell, there had never been a smell, and I was insulting her cleanliness. Needless to say, she did not provide a candle or other solution, and we suffered through the ongoing stench during our two-night stay. Sadly, the smell continued to be obvious throughout the unit.
