Nice condo stay at Copper

Very nice stay - basic but very clean and comfortable room (Murphy bed was not as comfortable as a regular one but good enough).

Check-in process wasn’t great; wasn’t given the correct access instructions for the garage nor the garage code. No WiFi password provided. Had to make multiple calls to get the information. Room was listed as studio with queen bed, but the bed was a Murphy bed and not comfortable. Overall it was clean and quiet and it’s nice to have garage parking. Not a lot around in the area which wasn’t my main reason for staying there- it was my half-way point to another destination.

Comfortable with a view

It was a cute and quiet hotel. My room had a Murphy bed, so that was a first...but pretty cool. And the view was remarkable. Could have sipped coffee there all morning.

The refrigerator and coffee pot did not work in our room. I notified the front desk. They fixed the fridge the following day, but all the food we brought had already spoiled. They never fixed the coffee pot so we couldnt make coffee the whole time. Our window didn’t have a screen, which I also told the front desk. We had gnats and a wasp in our room the whole time, and had to keep the window open because there isn’t air conditioning. We were extremely disappointed in the quality of the room and the management’s lack of caring. We will not stay here again.

Room had a smell when we entered, we opened the windows and it cleared up. The check-in staff did not know the correct gargle code. I called someone else and they still didn't. I had to ask another guest, they gave me the code and told me I had been given the old code

Clean and comfortable

Good place to stay. However know that you need to go to the clubhouse to get your room keys. Also the garage code given by the front desk was incorrect. Talked with a neighbor and got the correct answer. Overall was convenient to area and room was clean and comfortable.

Perfect spot right near heart of it all at Copper

The Telemark is in a fabulous location! It’s so close to the village and ski lifts, about 5-8 min walk. The rooms say kitchenette but really do have a full size appliances. The hot tub facility is very nice. The rooms are comfy and have everything you need. Great place to stay with a group of friends or family. Onsite parking is great. And the fact that you can use the athletic club and spa is perfect! We checked out of our hotel and skied all day and got to hit the spa for a shower before catching a red eye. It was fantastic. This is where I would stay when I come back to Copper. Note: you need to check in at the main lodging center vs the property itself.

40$ for 15 minutes late check out. No explanation.

This was my 1st time at Copper. Kind of liked it. Was considering buying a ski pass. Then I got an unknown charge on my card and had to call the switchboard to find out I was being nickled and dimed. This was the low season. No rush to turn rooms!

Decent room, poor information for check in

The instructions for check in were sorely lacking. You have to go to another building and this information wasn't provided in the Hotels.com information. Fortunately we are somewhat familiar with Copper and knew where the on-site check in facility was but those visiting would be waiting for 30 min or confused trying to figure it out.

overnight stay

Overall nice conditions. Private parking (underground garage with code), well-furnished room with small kitchen, 3 twin beds and 1 queen (basically 2 bunk beds), bathroom with bathtub, pretty clean, free wifi. The only downside really was the lack of information before we arrive. Sport equipment and pool are available for free access at the lodging check-in building. We did not know where the hotel was exactly in the resort...

We had a great time skiing at copper! It was great to have a place to stay in the mountains with our kids! We loved the hot tub and pool

The pull out couch was broken and kept collapsing. The shape of the couch was not satisfactory. Needs to be replaced. The coffee maker is difficult to work just right and spilled all over counter. It should be replaced. It would have been nice to have a large bowl for pasta to serve.

The room wss ok. Seems lile for $200 a night there would be a decent mattress to sleep on. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. Customer service was exceptional.

Family holiday gateway

We always love to stay in Copper. Condo was clean and cozy, not top of the line but great for the price. Upon request fresh towels and housekeeping service was right at our door. Very nice atmosphere and lots of amenities. Walking distance to ski lift and restaurants.

Overall a nice stay. The pictures on the hotel listing are extremely generous; the pictures make the room look a LOT bigger, and much nicer than actual. The common areas are getting a little shabby. No hot tub still as of 1/20/13, the spa room is gutted. There was at least a man working on it.

Welcome to the 1970's

A microwave with dials. A dishwasher that sounded like a jet. A carpet full of stains and patches. Formica everywhere. The murphy bed is only 3 feet from the fridge. Everytime the fridge starts, it wakes you up. At least the dishes and linens were clean. During our entire stay, nobody came in to make our bed or change our towels. The only positive side is that the accommodations are only a 5 minute walk to the lifts.

Union Creek at Copper Mountain Colorado

The room we were first given was terrible. Cheap half broken furniture. One recliners back was half falling off. Unusable. One window was stuck open and it was -15 degrees outside. Afte an hour and a half of sitting in th room waiting to hear back from the front desk they finally moved us to another room. This was room 212. The second room wad very nice. Good furniture, flat screen tv, fireplace, nicely decorated. It seems to me that it is extremely unfair that they can give you a crummy rundown room or a really nice room. I recomend anyone that rent a room from here should go in and look t the room, if not impressed call and get a better room. Since all the rooms are priced the same you shouldn't have to settle for a room that the owner has neglected and just put in the bare minimum required. The second room was 406. I feel tar copper is really ripping people off to rent rooms for a flat rate no matter how nice the room. In the end we got a nice room, but only after complaining for over an hour. There is something very wrong with the pricing of these rooms. I probably won't rent here again, but if I do I will check my room and if not satisfied I will either get a refund or demand a room that is worth my money. Not happy with the one night stay.

Not into the 80's decor

It was not what I expected. When I booked it I thought I was getting the place that was pictured online -instead I got a room from the late 70's early 80's that needs to be updated and/or thoroughly scrubbed. Bathtub was gross and carpets need to be cleaned. Convenience to the slopes can't be beat and front desk staff was very nice and very responsive to extra towels when needed.
