I had a wonderful stay at this charming studio in Corfu – and honestly, the view alone is worth it 😍
The apartment is compact, but thoughtfully laid out and perfectly workable. There’s a separate bathroom with a shower, and while the kitchen is small, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s one of those places where every bit of space is used well.
The location is ideal – right in the Old Town, yet slightly removed from the busiest streets. Thanks to the sea view, you get a peaceful atmosphere without the noise of the very centre, while still being just a 5-minute walk away from all the action.
And I have to mention the view again… absolutely stunning. It really makes the whole experience special.
Eftychia, the main contact, was fantastic. She reached out the day before my trip with clear check-in instructions and was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout my stay. There were some renovations happening a floor below, and I needed to contact her several times – she did her best to manage the situation and keep the noise down, which I really appreciated.
I also met the cleaners who live in the building – they were lovely and even brought us water for cooking, which was very thoughtful (as tap water isn’t drinkable in Corfu).
One small thing to note: there is a tourist tax of €8 per day. I was initially asked to pay this in cash, which I didn’t have, but the owner was happy to accept a bank transfer instead, which made things easy.
