Bra boende i centrala Korfu

Ett bra boende som ligger mycket centralt med gångavstånd till det mesta i Korfu stad. Boendet var rent och motsvarade förväntningarna. En relativt smidig incheckning

We contacted the owner prior to arriving to request early check in. Whilst in the UK he was nice as pie. When I contacted hm after landing in Corfu, he wanted a 58 euro tourist tax before we could access the apartment. I paid this and requested again early check in. Again denied. What about just leaving our luggage? No chance as it would delay the cleaners? At no time did he tell us there was a water emergency going on. So we eventually got in after dragging our luggage up three floors to find no info about anything and just a 2 litre bottle of water. The apartment is misrepresented in sp many ways in the photos. That balcony overlooks a sea of tv aerials and one of the AC units appears to empty onto the badly fitted plastic grass. There are no guidelines whatsoever, well basically nothing. Our dtaxi from the airport suggested there would be info available. Nothing whatsoever. Terrible. For some bizarre reason there is a bank of high intensity green lights in both bedrooms and the hallway. You can’t turn them off and you can’t sleep. I have videos of all my complaints, so I would challenge the owners to respond.

Δυστυχώς το διαμέρισμα δεν ανταποκρινόταν ούτε στις φωτογραφίες ούτε στις βασικές προδιαγραφές καθαριότητας, υγιεινής και συντήρησης. Από την πρώτη στιγμή υπήρχε έντονη μυρωδιά υγρασίας και ούρων, ενώ σε αρκετά σημεία ήταν εμφανής η έλλειψη καθαρισμού και φροντίδας. Το τηλέφωνο του ντους είχε εμφανή μούχλα, υπήρχαν έντομα μέσα στο διαμέρισμα, οι σίτες ήταν σκισμένες και γεμάτες τρύπες, ενώ τα πατζούρια στο ένα υπνοδωμάτιο δεν έκλειναν, με αποτέλεσμα να μπαίνει συνεχώς φως και να μην υπάρχει ούτε ιδιωτικότητα ούτε δυνατότητα ξεκούρασης. Επιπλέον, το κατάλυμα βρίσκεται στον 3ο όροφο χωρίς ασανσέρ, κάτι που δεν αναφερόταν ξεκάθαρα στην καταχώριση, παρότι πρόκειται για ουσιώδη πληροφορία για πολλούς ταξιδιώτες. Ακόμη και η τοποθεσία στο Google Maps εμφανιζόταν λανθασμένα, δημιουργώντας επιπλέον ταλαιπωρία κατά την άφιξη. Αυτό που προκαλεί μεγαλύτερη εντύπωση είναι ότι το κατάλυμα εμφανίζεται με εξαιρετικές αξιολογήσεις και περιγραφές περί καθαριότητας και άνεσης, εικόνα που δεν είχε καμία σχέση με την πραγματική εμπειρία που βιώσαμε. Συνολικά, πρόκειται για μία ιδιαίτερα απογοητευτική διαμονή που δεν δικαιολογεί ούτε την τιμή ούτε την παρουσίαση του καταλύματος στην πλατφόρμα.
