Quiet Waterfront Cottage Close To Charlottetown

  • 'York Point Beach House’ is a beautiful 2 bedroom cottage on the water in a quiet setting just 10 minutes west of Charlottetown in Cornwall. Just minutes from restaurants and other service amenities, the cottage sleeps four with a queen bed in the master bedroom and a double bed in the second bedroom. The dining room comfortably seats 6. The cottage is fully furnished & equipped with propane BBQ, washer & dryer, all kitchen appliances (including dishwasher & air fryer), and WiFi. A 10x16 sunroom and two large panoramic composite decks with steps to the water and a large yard provide ample space for enjoying this peaceful scenic destination. Excellent location for beach-combing or to just relax and watch the wildlife - blue herons, eagles, seals, etc. Popular north shore and south shores beaches are 20-30 minutes away. There are 2 external security cameras on site for security purposes.

A truly wonderful place to stay on the south shore. Beautiful cottage, so well decorated, has everything you need. Excellent hosts! Close to Charlottetown and many sights. Peaceful and scenic. We would stay here again!

Wonderful Stay!

We stayed at the cottage for our girls vacation and we couldn’t have been happier! Heather and Floyd are wonderful hosts! The cottage is beautiful, exceptionally clean and the water views are just stunning. We will definitely be back to stay again!

We loved the cottage and location! It was very comfortable and the extra touches provided by Floyd and Heather were awesome and very much appreciated. It was a great stay and we very highly recommend it.

Vacation perfection

For our family of 3 it would be hard to find so perfect a space anywhere else. The scenery, the quality of the property, the easy access to services and locations and of course the professionalism of the owners - this experience is tops. Thanks to Floyd and Heather for making our time on PEI an absolute win.

A very responsive and excellent host(s) who wanted to ensure we had a super experience. The property is in a super waterfront location and as we are from Ontario and our friends are from Colorado it was nice to see the tides and the relaxing sounds of nature and the waves. I would highly recommend this location as we felt at home upon arrival. Thanks, to our fine hosts!!

Amazing location

We had an excellent stay at this property. Heather was an excellent host and the cottage was beautiful. We particularly enjoyed the sun room. The property was in a quiet location but was close to amenities and convenient for getting anywhere on the island.

Wonderful place- beautiful!

This cottage was beautiful, clean and very well-equipped. The owners were very quick to respond to any questions we had. Our family has stayed in many rental properties while on vacations across Canada, and this was one of the nicest we've visited. We would happily stay here again.

Absolutely fantastic! Floyd and Heather were amazing hosts. Each and every recommendation for restaurants, beaches, sites to take in were awesome. The beach house is beautiful. The pictures on the site are true to real; in reality even better. Location superb. We just can’t wait to come back to P.E.I. and mark my words. We will be back.

Amazing property!!

This property exceeded our expectations. Amazing waterfront location with fantastic views. Spacious and very clean. Loved the fireplace as the weather was chilly when we were there. Close to Charlottetown and all amenities. Would definitely stay there again!!

York Point Retreat

We had a wonderful week staying at 570 York Point, Cornwall. Hosts were very friendly and easy to contact. Home is very well appointed on a beautiful property overlooking the river. Photos are very accurate as to what this home offers to visitors. It's an easy drive to Charlottetown and other PEI destinations from this property.

What an experience! This was the best short term rental we have stayed at on PEI. We cooked here every night with local produce and meat and the kitchen had evetything we needed for high end cooking. We will definitely try to book again for next summer! The views here will blow your mind!

Best relaxing place with beautiful view

This cottage was so clean and so beautiful. The water view , the sunroom, the deck was so useful to relax. Heather was so wonderful and guided us where the best places to go. I would highly recommend to my friends to visit at this cottage when they are at Cornwall ,PEI . 😊

Quick off season stay

We took a chance to try and rent this cottage on very short notice. Our hosts approved our staying there starting on the day they returned from their own vacation. The cottage is VERY nice and a fantastic central location on PEI. I can not recomend this property more highly. Amazing stay, fantastic hosts and a beautiful part of thr country.

The location was fantastic. Right on the water, picturesque, quiet and private. The house is light, and new. Very pleasing and relaxing. Also well organized and well stocked. Heather was a most gracious and helpful host. I would recommend it.

Wonderful holiday getaway

From the start, we knew we were in for a great stay - Heather was responsive, met us at the door, gave us the tour, ensured we had what we needed. After that it was 5 days of our little family taking day trips and coming "home" to the cosy confines of this cottage - a nice mix of modern and beach rustic. Great water view, quiet location, all amenities you would need (thank you again fire pit! ) and location-wise, close to Charlottetown and Cows ice cream!

SOOOO beautiful

It was even better than on the pictures. The view is so amazing. You can see the bay from about any room in the cottage. Easy access to the beach and more than plenty outdoor chairs. Confort, accessories in the kitchen and bath room, games, everything was perdect. Heather was a great host. I recommand for sure!
