  • Nestled among the treetops this 2 bedroom 1.5 bath canal front cottage is perfect for a small family getaway. Enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, boating, or fishing right out the front door as well as occasional visits from the local wild horses. Relax on the wrap around deck or kick back by a fire and enjoy a night of cocktails or smores with family and friends. Just a short ride or leisurely stroll to the beach. This tiny cottage boast big enjoyment. Located in the 4x4 area. ****Accessible by 4 wheel drive only****

What an amazing gem, it was such a comfy cottage tucked away amidst the live oaks and pines. All the comforts of home at the Dew Drop Inn!! Can't wait to come back!!

Very clean and well stocked property. We enjoyed the seclusion along with a nice fire in the fire pit by the sound. We had horses visit most mornings on and around the cottage. Would definitely stay again.

What more can we say, this rental is truly a gem! It’s super clean, quaint, and furnished with everything you could possibly need on vacation. The peace and quiet this location offers is absolutely unbeatable. We loved the wildlife sightings as well - morning greetings from the osprey across the channel, wild ponies on the shore, and evening swims from the otter. We cannot wait to come back and visit again. Thank you for sharing this wonderful place with us!

Lovely place; comfortable for the three of us. The property had everything we needed for our weekend stay. The Mustangs did not disappoint; beautiful to see them in their natural habitat. Will definitely consider renting again if we return to the OBX area.

We loved our stay. I wanted to stay another week! I have never slept on an adjustable mattress so that was a nice surprise. We used the very well stocked kitchen a lot because we didn't want to make the drive to town/restaurants more than once a day. The kayaks were fun and we had a hilarious time failing at a family paddleboat ride. I wish I had footage of us paddling in circles! I'm glad there were several life vests for that adventure. The beach was neverending and beautiful. Don't believe your GPS if it has you turning in several times before the cottage. It lies and takes you on some extremely steep, roller coaster-like hills! Stay straight and you'll be just fine. Thank you again for sharing your beautiful home with us.

I loved the property. Submerged in nature. Was so nice to see ospreys and herons, wild horses everywhere. I loved offroading everywhere, it was so fun. Every turn had a new adventure for me and my dog. The house is tiny but the property is very large. I don't think that should deter anyone. The owners went above and beyond to help me with airing my tires down. They were fantastic hosts. Me and my dog had a great time.

Charming Cottage

Our stay here was excellent! We enjoyed using the kayaks, trying a little fishing, and having a bonfire. The location of the cottage was perfect for spending the day on beach and then coming back to relax in the evening.

House was pet friendly and on the canal. The home was easy to access and was well stocked for a vacation. Only concerns were mosquitoes at night but once you follow the recommendations of the homeowner, there were no problems. Highly recommend staying at this home if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing vacation!

Restful beach cabin

This cabin is perfect! Nice large deck overlooking the channel, super close to the beach. The owners have made the cabin cozy and they have provided everything you might need!

Fantastic Waterfront Stay!We had an amazing time at this Corolla Beach property. Check-in was super easy, the home was spotless, and everything inside felt high-end and thoughtfully designed. The kitchen and bathrooms were especially impressive. Loved waking up to the water views — truly a relaxing and luxurious stay. Highly recommend!

The cottage was well maintained and clean upon arrival. The owners were wonderful with communication and were prompt to answer our questions. The outdoor area was our favorite. We thoroughly enjoy the fire pit and seeing all the wild horses and we will be back!

We absolutely loved our stay, celebrating our first year anniversary. The cottage was adorable and had everything you could imagine to make our stay comfortable & enjoyable! We’ll definitely be back!

The property was amazing and just as advertised. We came for the wild horses and were not disappointed as they appeared multiple times each day. Driving down the beach road was just so much fun to experience. It was the perfect get away for our family of four. Places to rest and relax, near the beach, and water activities in the back.
