4th of July stay

There were a lot of dead bugs in the house in the stairwell. The trash had not been put out to be removed by the previous guests so the trash bins were half full when we arrived. There was limited cookware and toiletries. The location of the house was great, the views were incredible, and the house was overall comfortable.

Family vacation

This property was exactly as listed and was in terrific clean shape. The location was beyond beautiful. We had an amazing time and will be back! The only suggestions I have for improvement would be more kitchen necessities, there are not enough pots and pans, large bowls etc for the size of group expected for a house this large. The only other critique would be that the pillows are extremely uncomfortable. Other than these minor critiques, I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic get away.

Beautiful view

The home was beautiful and a great location. The view was amazing and the sunsets breath taking as we fixing dinner and enjoying a cocktail with the family. We had plenty of room for everyone. I would suggest for the future guest a few things. First I would make sure you take along with you a good broom to sweep up after yourself and to clean the stairs in knock down cobwebs. The one provided was in rough shape and kind a gross looking. Also if you plan to cook you might want to take along some kitchen pans. There were not enough provided and they were very small to cook for the size of house it is. The plates and cups had many chips. The pool is beautiful. However it had absolutely no afternoon shade. So make sure you bring a sun tent or something if you have had enough sun but still want to enjoy the pool. There were several thing broken. The screen on the the kids bedroom door. And you couldn't use one of the bunk beds because the ladder was not attacked to the bed. It was broken off. We also all thought it strange that the room that had the bunk bed (kids room) was the room closest to the pool and with an outside exit to the driveway. That porch did provide shade and it would have been nice to sit on and still be able to talk to people in the pool area. It was so nice that all the bedrooms had access to a porch. The front bedroom had a nice porch but you would not have wanted to sit among the cobwebs. And only the top deck had furniture. The pool t

Great stay, some issues

We had an awesome time at this property, the location was fantastic and the home is well-equipped. The house was not as clean as it should have been on our arrival (we had several small children in our group and there were things like dead bugs all over the low windowsills - we had to go around cleaning up when we first arrived). We also had an issue with the last group's trash not being removed - despite multiple communications with the rental management company, the issue was not resolved for several days causing a lot of flies in the pool area and out front. The second fridge on the bottom floor was also broken for our entire stay, the management company seemed to have no idea until we called and they didn't send someone out to look at it until 2 days later - resulting is us not being able to use the second fridge at all (which wasn't the end of the world, but annoying b/c we had a large group with lots of food/drinks). We also called ahead about getting the pool heated and were told it was cold (in the 60s) and should pay the extra $350 to heat it for the week - which we did. Then upon arrival, the heater was off and the pool was in the 80s - definitely did not need to pay the extra amount and feel like the management company was not up front with us about that. All in all - we had a great time DESPITE these issues. The house itself is great and the location is awesome. Just be ready for a lot of interaction with the management company about the issues they cause.

Family Holiday Trip

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this property. Very well kept, cleanliness was my biggest request and I was satisfied! The neighborhood was nice and quiet and very family oriented

Amazing House in a great location

This house is just beautiful! The long dock into the bay is the best in Corolla!! I would rent this house again any day! :) The only downside of our stay were the sheets provided ... not enough and not always clean. I recommend you bring your own sheets.

Lovely visit Great amenities

this is a beautiful property with great amenities. there were a few glitches mostly related to it being anew property. The owners could have provided more pictures as the property was being built and decorated. we asked for them several times in the last three months before our rental and they were not updated. when we arrived at the property we were not provided with access code to she house. That problem was readily solve but would be nice to have it sent to us at the agreed upon time. Some of the things we requested including sheets for one room took a couple of days to be delivered to the house. Again, the misses were small and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
