Great house, great time

Wonderful, beautiful home. Had to do some initial touch up for our standards but overall it was a great time. Home was as pretty as it was in the pics.

OBX vacation

We loved this house and the area! It was perfect for our group of 22. We loved the area of Pine Island but the only challenge is the beach access locations do not allow any cars to be parked on the street. We rented a golf cart and shuttled groups back and forth. Once we had a system it was great. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location-short shaded walk to the beach. The home provided more than enough sleeping options for our family reunion of 16 plus a ocean loving pup. The sheets and mattresses, at least in the king bedrooms, could use a refresh. Small issues at the house were timely handled by maintenance.

Excellent Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Treasured Times Sun to Sun. This house was perfect for our group of 17 with the nine bedrooms. The fact that the seven master bedrooms had their own bathroom was really nice, especially for the adult couples. The walk to the beach was so easy (less than five minutes) along a straight walk. I also want to complement the cleaning and maintenance staff, who did a superb job. We would definitely go back to this house.

Although this property had the configuration we were looking for we found the facility very worn and poorly kept. We would not stay at this property or use Shoreline OBX again.

Not as advertised

Poor communication. Was not familiar with location and was told we were a lot closer to amenities that we ended up being. Right on highway 12, lots of traffic noise. A lot of blue tape suggesting many repair needed. Leaking hot tub had to be filled daily. Probably the farthest home in pine island from beach. Will stay closer and with another agency next time. OBX is however, the best place on the palnet. We made due. Little kids are little kids.

Treasured Times needs some help

When we arrived one of the dishwashers had a sign posted and was not operational, one of the dryers was making loud noises so we contacted maintenance..they came immediately, but dryer was unusable for the week, lights stopped working in four bedrooms and two bathrooms...maintenance contacted again...they did repair but said additional maintenance was required. Outside deck areas of the home were filthy. We did not let these items spoil our fun. This was our second time staying at this home, but we will most likely not stay again if improvements are not made.

House was great for our family. I do think more attention could be paid to the exterior. There were so many flies and spiders and a lot of the plastic rocking chairs on the balconies were unusable because of dead bugs on them. Front door area was covered in webs and bugs. Other homes in the neighborhood did not appear that way. There was also a lot of rust from the nails on the railings so if you hang a towel over it they would get rust spots. Only one of the 4 coffee makers there worked and it leaked so a new coffee maker with a pot for large groups would be advised! Seating area near pool table would also help like some chairs or a small couch. Overall it was a great house-clean interior, plenty of space and layout was great.

The house was large and lovely. The elevator was very much appreciated for me, the eldest member of the group. Whenever anything needed attention, maintenance was very responsive and arrived in a timely manner. They could not fix the lights in the pool, making it difficult to supervise the children at night. The kitchen was well-equipped for our large group of 17. Several of the coffeemakers leaked water out the bottom making the kitchen floor very slippery, creating a danger for some like me. We put those coffeemakers downstairs, once we discovered the problem. The only other issue was that two of the beds had sand on the sheets when we arrived so we had to wash the sheets before sleeping on them -- a housekeeping issue. Overall, it was a good accommodation.

Disappointing

Huge disappointment. First class price but second class furnishings. There was sand in several sheets when we arrived. The powder room door did not close. The couch was old and very uncomfortable. Plates, cups, dishes came from yard sales. Refrigerator too small for that size home. The pool had weeds growing around the edges, mold and rot on steps to hot tub, area around pool and hot tub not swept. Mud puddle at pool gate that you could not avoid. There was no handicap access to the beach and we should have been for-warned.

Very good Value. Nicer than the pictures portray

Very nice house with plenty of rooms. The house is very large with lots of deck space outside as well. It was a nice surprise that they had a gas grill. There's also an outdoor bar that could've been utilized but we did not use it. The house comfortably fit me and my other 14 family members very nicely. Lots of parking. Kitchen and dining table is big enough for large family dinners. The beach was a close walk. Overall it was a really great value And quality. The only downside was a broken front door that I had a hard time closing. We really had to force the issue to make sure the door was closed was just a little bit of a hassle. Also, the de-webbing the interior/exterior of the house to get rid of all the cobwebs/spiderwebs and some fresh paint on the deck would go a long way for this house. Not too bad if that's the only compliant I think. Overall a great experience for my family and I — would recommend again for sure!

Dont rent this house, until all of its issues are corrected.

Check in at 1.Got there and pool guy, Cleaning people and a guy pressure washing the house. Got in at 3. Cleaning people were great with helping get response to our issues but they just kept coming. Dishwasher and dryer broken all week. Half of house didnt have electric because pressure washed the breaker box. Spiders have now come in the house and we spider stomped the first 24 hours. Then 11 of my 14 guest including me got respiratory problems that have now gone away after we left the house. Vents very dirty with mold. I washed dishes on my vacation as well as no clean clothes. The cleaning people did a good job but no cleaning maintenance. Fans have a ton of dirt. When power went out so did the filtration for the pool. I didnt know this til the pool looked scummy and the pool guy came and taught us how to backwash the pool. Not my job. I dont know if it is the owners problem , Shorline, or Vrbo. But I am a hillbilly from the woods and never would i invite someone to my home and treat them like this. Im not fancy but do want clean. I want what i paid for with my hard earned money. The property does not look like the picture. NEVER again.

This home, while located in a beautiful area, is not what was presented in photos. Upon arrival we were very discouraged by the unkempt nature of the property. The grass was overgrown, the walkways covered in rocks and cracks with weeds growing, the pool area had weeds growing in seams. The entire house was covered in cobwebs and grime. Broken outdoor seating furniture throughout the decks. The volleyball court was overgrown with weeds. Random pool floaties were strewn throughout the bottom walkway. The interior of home was run down and shabby. The refrigerators (both upstairs and down) were missing bins and shelves. The glass oven door completely fell off while opening it. The floors have nails sticking up randomly and you can see spaces in the joints between boards. Door to bathroom in kitchen needs adjusting as it was difficult to close and open. The living room tv shelf does not quite fit the TV that is shimmied in. On the upper deck there were outdoor screens propped up leaning against outside of home. When we booked we were told there was a queen pull out sofa in the captains quarters—there is not. THe furniture is very worn and needs cleaned—-vacuumed and upholstery washed. It was covered in stains. On the second floor, multiple fans were not operable and we had to have maintenance come to repair. The bathtub in one of the bedrooms was clogged with copious amounts of paper? THe doors leading to the outside decks were covered in cobwebs and patio furniture covered in bird poop. The bottom floor refrigerator has random parts sitting on top of it and is missing shelves, bins and doors. The area is ope and there is a pool table and TV. This would make a great room for the family to relax in—-but there is no couch! Only seating is two bar stools. Which just is not inviting. We were very disappointed in this property for the amount of money spent. We travel to the OBX for family vacations yearly and this has been the worst rental property we have been in.

Comfortable vacation home

Overall, the home met our needs, plenty of room, all had their own bedroom & bathroom. The pool was enjoyable, the pool table was a hit with the guys. It was a short walk to the beach. The couches in the living room were stained & uncomfortable. Many of the sinks had sluggish drains, need to be cleaned out. We reported to maintenance a few issues that needed to be addressed. Light bulbs burned out, a broken sink drain plug in a bathroom, a very dirty kitchen vent that needed to be cleaned.

Great Home, Needed Maintenance

Great location. This home had everything we needed, except for a few things. The 10th sleeping area did not have a bed, and there were a few odds and ends things mission like shades and shower curtains but the maintenance company made sure to fix these issues right away. We wish there wernt so many people coming in every day trying to spray for bugs inside and out, and replacing a whole door and frame etc. but otherwise a great place to stay. We like that each of the king beds had bathrooms. Great for the price!
