Everything was great except our vehicles got stuck multiple times in the driveway. The owner needs to ensure that the drive is cleaned regularly. It was very difficult for older adults to be pushing vehicles out of being trapped in the sand. We've stayed in this house many, many times and have never had this problem before. But it made things very difficult. We are staying here again starting Nov. 15. I feel like we should get some reimbursement from our previous stay or a discount on our next stay.

This was our first time staying at this beach house; and we were very pleased! The view is amazing. The interior was very nice and clean, & more spacious than we expected. The side door could use a tad bit of work, but other than that, we had zero complaints! The prices were very good. We will definitely be back. This is our new favorite place.

You better have a four wheel drive vehicle

There were major problems with electrical and 10 inches of sand in the driveway. The managers felt it was typical of being at the beach and would not reply to texts. We ended up having to call the safety hotline about 5 times. They were going to cut off our power for four hours to fix the issue and expected us to find a place to go since no ac. The sand they told us it was worse the weekend before us. They told us to enjoy the view. We luckily had a four wheel drive and we learned quickly how to use it. When the managers disagree with what you think is safe, they simply ignore you. It was pathetic. We felt we were on our own to deal with whatever they thought was standard. Clearly we felt ignored. The microwave was very clean and nice.

My business partner and I stayed for 2 nights for a fishing trip. Excellent location. Open and spacious with a great deck for relaxing and watching the beach. Clean with comfortable beds. The grill is useless due to corrosion. We would definitely bring our wives back and book this place again.

Mildew smell in bunk room when

The cleaning people did a splendid job preparing the place for us! The view from the rental and the beach assess were both excellent. However, the rental itself needs attention. Many appliances, beds, kitchen wear, furnishings, etc. need to be better maintained or even replace. Also, the kid's bunk is room smelt like mildew when it rained. It was strong enough that our kids ended up sleeping on the floor in another room and didn't use the bunk room for the remainder our stay. We still had a fantastic family vacation because things like this aren't a huge deal to us. But we thought we should recommend maintaining the rental better for a more comfortable stay.

The location is hard to beat!

We really enjoyed our stay and the location is hard to beat! We came to Port Aransas for Spring Break with our 4 young kids and had a great time! The house is literally situated ON the beach, so the fact that we could just walk outside and be on the ocean was wonderful. The house does come with a variety of amenities, including a regular drip coffee machine, a Keurig, a blender, and a toaster (I didn’t see these things listed on the site and was wondering about them). The only downside was the kitchen amenities, particularly the microwave, stovetop, and oven, as well as the dryer. They’re all pretty outdated. The washer was new, but we had to put the dryer on a 60-minute cycle twice on high heat for each load to get it to dry all the way. Additionally, the hot water tank must be on the smaller side because it seemed to run out when we all took showers at the same time. Other than that, our stay was great and we’ll definitely return for another trip!

Second visit to this house

just a few things, upon arrival the front door was not all the way closed, dishwasher would not work and had dirty dishes in it, the film on the front storm door was torn, could have been cleaner. But, all in all, I was there about 10 years ago and I will come again, I enjoy this property and the closeness to the waters edge. We had a great time!!!!!!

Wonderful home, incredible location

The home was beautiful and clean. I would stay again in a heartbeat. Attempts to contact the property manager went unanswered when coffee pot was not working. It wasn’t a make or break for our trip but, if something like a plumbing issues had happened I’m not sure what we would have done. Great home, not so great property management.

On the Beach Cabin

Great place to stay on the beach. Only downside was the back of the couch was broken and the door looked like someone had tried to break in. Door was secure though

Family Beach Vacation

Great house, great location! Only slight negative was the comfort of the mattresses. For the rental rate, I would recommend investing in better mattresses? But other than that, great memories!

Beach vacay.

Great location! We would definately come back! The place has a great location. We recommend renting a golf cart to get around, it will save your car from sand and sun...and it is fun to cruise the beach!

Great Beach House

We had a great spring break visit to Port Aransas and loved staying in this property. The house was very clean, had all the basic supplies we needed, and was easy walking distance to the beach. It was exactly what we were looking for and we would absolutely stay here again!

Went back for more fun!

We loved the location of the property after our first visit Winter Break 2020 that we decided to go back again for Winter break 2021. Perfect little beach getaway for our family - love the conveniences of the home (laundry, ease of beach access, lots of delicious resturants near by). Only complaints are the storm shutters were not all tied down (some of the straps were broken) and therefore very noisy on windy nights.

Wonderful!

Loved staying here, and looking forward to coming back. Inside of house is modern, open and roomy, and exceptionally clean. They even had new, fluffy bath towels! The house is private and nicely tucked away, but has excellent beach access. I can't say enough good things about this house.
