Enjoyed our stay

Beautiful house very conveniently located to town and the beach. We rented a cart and used it to go to the restaurants. Loved that it had 3 rooms with king sized beds for the 3 adult couples that we went with. Also great for families - lots of bunk beds. The only drawback - the drip coffee maker did not work. We made the best of it. Would rent again.

Perfect house for family trip to the beach!

We had a fantastic stay at Rum Runner. The house was perfect for our family—clean, well-equipped, and just a short golf cart drive to the beach. The nearby restaurants added to the convenience. Communication with AvantStay was excellent, making our stay smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend and would love to stay again!

Beautiful house and pool!

There were nine of us adults that stayed and had a wonderful time. The house is absolutely beautiful, clean and very comfortable. We loved hanging out by the pool and it's very close to the beach. Would definitely stay again!

Great house and great location

We had such a great time. The house was clean and it had everything we needed. Close to beach access and everything that Port A has to offer. We kept on commenting on how great of a house it was! Will definitely be back.

Nice house with a pool

We enjoyed staying at Rum Runner! There are 3 nice size bedrooms in the main house and 1 bedroom downstairs by the garage and near the pool. Nice size living room with a good amount of seating space. The kitchen was well stocked which was nice since we cooked each day. The pool was a nice respite from the beach and it has a fence around it for safety with the little ones. Avenue G is one block away and leads directly to the beach. We would stay at Rum Runner again!

Great house

House was clean and very nice for our stay. Plenty of room! Loved having the pool! It’s a bit noisy as it is close to some traffic thoroughfare but not terrible. Bring some sharper knives for cooking and bring K Pods if you want to use the Keurig rather than coffee grounds. Great stay for us!

Beautiful beach house and close to the water!

Pictures did not do this house justice. It’s beautiful and very clean! My kids loved the bunk room, and it worked out perfectly not having to fight who gets the king beds with the en suite. My mother and kids loved the heated pool, and the room downstairs came in handy for using the bathroom and not having to climb the stairs while we were swimming. We rented a golf cart and I felt like the location of this property was very central. I’ve already had so many friends and family ask where we stayed, because my pictures on social media looked so beautiful! Thank you! Will definitely be returning!

Nice house great location

Really liked the house and location although I do feel it was overpriced. They need to address a few issues. There was a mold, musty type odor that needs to be addressed. There weren't any wine glasses in the kitchen. There are a lot of light bulbs out downstairs that need replacing. Property Manager's were great, the house just needs some work if they are going to charge so much to rent.

Some Observations

Kitchen - Palstic plates and cups/glasses would be more referable than glassware. We did not use. Need more silverware not enough settings for 10 let alone 12. Master bedroom TV was not totally responsive took numerious attempts to turn on and load channels.

Great stay!

This is a lovely property. Very spacious and good for gatherings. Thanks for allowing our 2 small dogs to stay. The kitchen is well stocked and there are plenty of blankets/ quilts. We enjoyed the outdoor deck. I did get into the pool. It was relatively warm for this time of the year. We would stay here again!

Great escape from the cold!

We enjoyed five nights in this spacious beautiful home. Had everything we needed and then some. Cooked a great steak dinner on the grill and the recommendations they left for restaurants was very helpful. Ample enough room for the six of us to relax. By far, the pool was my favorite part of our vacation! We came from snowy Wisconsin and the heated pool was exactly what we needed. Spent a lot of time relaxing in the sun and it was so nice and warm at night too. Coffee on the porch in the morning was relaxing. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Would recommend!

Our new favorite

This is our 6th rental in Port A in the last 3 years, and this was our favorite property, by far. It is situated close to the beach, and was more-than-adequately-equipped for multiple guests of varying interests. (The heated pool was a nice amenity this go-around, as it was too windy to stay very long on the beach, itself.)

Beautiful Home, Great Pool!

Great for a family vacation

Awesome everything. Pictures do justice to the listing. Less than 5 minute cart ride to the beach and to morning coffee shop. Less than 10 minute cart ride to restaurant, grocery and ice cream. I visited with my wife and my son's very young family with 4 kids and we were all very pleased.
