This is a fantastic property but the pet fee was not transparent. If you make your booking by identifying number of days and number of guests after selecting the property it does not ask you if you have a pet or not. You only get asked that question of you identify number of guests from original VRBO homepage. The pet fee was like double the actual per night fee. I have to hope that is not intentionally deceiving and only a glitch in the two different ways to make the booking but highly disappointing to learn after the fact. I probably would not have booked this property had I know the full charges including the non trivial pet fee amount. Again, other than that absolutely loved the property.

New Family Tradition

Girls weekend

Great place. Super clean and really cute with a perfect lay out. If we make another trip to Rockport, we hope to stay at this house again. We did not bring our pups this trip, but the house and yard are perfect should you want to bring them with you.

Absolutely loved this property. Everything about the house & yard are perfect. I felt like we came to our home, only from desert to ocean. It is bright, decorated to the 10's, clean, comfortable beds & the beach is only 1 mile away. Thank you for the kind & efficient property managment.

Comfortable House

We stayed here over the Thanksgiving holiday and prepared and had Thanksgiving dinner here. The kitchen was stock pretty good for this aside from a the faulty can opener and potato peeler we had all we needed. The house was very roomy and comfortable. We had intended on using the fire pit however even though the property had an abundance of outdoor water spigots there was not a water house available for use, so for this reason we did not feel comfortable in having an outside fire. This was disappointing as we had brought firewood along for this purpose.

Our new go-to place at Rockport

This property was exactly what we wanted.Large living area, large fenced in yard for my dog. Even came with friendly doggies next door to occupy my dog! We plan to come back again and again.

Just Right

We like this home a lot. We would stay there again. It’s spacious, clean and well decorated. It had everything we wanted for our adult son, grandson, grand-dog and us (seniors). Kitchen is well supplied with pots, pans, dishes and wine glasses. The king bedroom has a large Jack and Jill bath that connects to one of the two guest bedrooms. The other guest bedroom is on the other side of the house and has its own bath. That arrangement worked for us, but we opted for the stand alone bedroom with queen bed. Family members took the others. Outside Area for the dog is large and there’s a doggie door access. Fire pit is a good idea, but bring your own wood and mosquito spray. Nightly rental cost is so reasonable. Added fees are expected with VRBO.

Not a good experience

The bedroom behind kitchen smelt so bad we had to keep the door closed the whole time. The ac was on a timer so at 4pm it was 78’ in the house and we couldn’t adjust ceiling fans. We killed 2 huge roaches in kitchen 1st night. 2nd night the neighbors boxer along with 2 other dogs came out of the doggy door & barked at us for 4 hrs straight we couldn't even hear each other talk. I took a video & my husband went over to talk to them but, I they didn't answer the door. This is our 3rd annual trip we take my grandson every year for his Birthday. We originally booked 3 nights then my grandson got sick so I called & tried to modify the stay to another 3 days that showed available. But, after spending hrs on the phone I didn't get any cooperation with Vacasa or VRBO. We didn't even get to stay 3 nights as planned because the roads where flooded getting into Rockport from San Marcos, Tx. So My husband & I only stayed Thurs & Fri. Pretty disappointing.

The house was very lovely

My family and I visited for the weekend. The house was amazing. There were a lot of mosquitoes so it was hard for us to enjoy the backyard. We did have a small issue with the fridge. It was leaking really bad when we first got there all three beds and the couch are very comfortable, everything was very clean. The neighbors were very friendly. There isn’t a lot of places to eat after 5 o’clock. It was mainly bars but other than that our state was very nice.

The house was beautifully decorated, and clean. This was the first weekly rental that truly had everything we needed in the kitchen!! Pots and pans, dishes, cutlery and cooking utensils! Also, having the dishwasher, washer and dryer were an added bonus! I would recommend the home to fellow travelers, however bring Cutters backyard spray for the mosquitoes! lol 😂
