Tropical storm came in and we couldn't even use the rental. Asked them to help me out as a multiple stayer at this property and was told to go pound sand there was nothing they would or could do to help us out. Will not be using VACASA again.

Be wary and verify repairs done

First, the property itself was clean and well equipped for the 20+ people we had staying together. The amenities and number of rooms, bathrooms, etc was perfect for our plans. However when checking the home shortly after checking in we discovered that the hot water was not working, that took 5 days to have corrected in a 7 day stay. The issue was the hot water heater that also caused breakers to flip that left two rooms without power for guests that use CPap machines. Next an upstairs bathroom that was reported to be leaking into the kitchen in June was not corrected and we were asked to discontinue its use. Finally an ant problem was also previously reported and was not rectified. All issues were reported to the property manager and we were told that some compensation would be offered for the issues. The amount offered was 3% of what was paid for the property and still has not been finalized or sent, now 2 months later. All communications have been thru text messages and attempts to contact by phone doesn't allow even a voicemail to be left and now are not being returned. In short while the property would be great once all issues have been corrected the property management has displayed an absence of customer service.

Great for large families!!!

Overall, the house was perfect for our needs. We had a quick weekend trip, including 6 hours of travel each way. The property was just as presented! The floors and back patio could use a little attention, when cleaning. We were notified ahead of time of 1 shower not working, and made allowance for that. The location to the beach was easy. The pool was large enough for many families. Only issue we had was, the freezer wouldn't close, and frig didn't cool. We would stay here again.

Decent group vacation

The place had plenty of room for our large group of 15 including kids from 2-17, everyone was able to have some privacy and there were plenty of bathrooms. The floors were very dirty when we arrived which we made worse with sand and such over our 3 night stay of course. There was also a leak in one of the upstairs bathrooms that came through the ceiling in the kitchen and an ant infestation near the kitchen which I was assured they would take care of for the next guests. For what we paid it could have been a little cleaner but overall it worked out really well. We also enjoyed the saltwater pool, it was very nice, lots of shade and seating available.

Annual Family Trip

There was 12 of us that stayed in the house, we range from the age of 4- 60’s.. We had plenty of space for all of us. The first night our fridge went out, but we called Vacasa and they had someone out the next day and then we had no problem the rest of the week. All rooms were spacious and we loved the dinner table as it had room for all of us to sit if needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Lots of beds!

We had 10 adults and a 7 year old. This property has lots of beds but they are bunk beds!! Very sturdy though!!! Plenty of room at the dining table and living room to watch tv. Overall, a great property for families with young kids!

Ring Ceremony - TAMUCC

We had our family stay with us while our daughter received her ring from TAMUCC. There was plenty of room for everyone and the location was the best!! This property was well stocked with every appliance we needed. Beautifully decorated and stocked!! Our family will definitely be back to stay when she graduates next year.

Great Place with a Few Cons

Pros: Really great location: really close to a good beach and some shopping and restaurants. It was nice to have so many bathrooms when you're sleeping so many people there. The community was pretty quiet. The community pool was nice and had a good area for kids. The management was responsive. Our AC was way too cold, and we were unable to adjust it, and they responded quickly and sent someone to fix it. On our first night, they also texted and asked for a cleanliness rating, and when I responded, they asked if they could send someone to fix the things I mentioned. That's nice, but also inconvenient and obviously better to just have it clean in the first place. Cons: A few days before check in I got an email saying I would get a code the morning of check in. I never did, so I had to call and wait on hold the day of. The email with a code was sent. However, when we got to the house, there was a lockbox, not a keypad, so I had to call and wait on hold again to get the correct combination. As mentioned, the AC was way too cold and couldn't be adjusted. It was crazy hot outside, but we all wanted sweatshirts inside. This issue was fixed. The posting says there is a private tennis court, but there isn't. The grills mentioned are in the pool area and old yucky charcoal ones. It also said beach towels/chairs are provided, but I never saw chairs, and there were only 4 towels, so those won't stretch very far for a place that sleeps 20 people. Additionally the place was stingy with other supplies. Hand soaps ran out early in the week, and we had to buy replacements. There were only 2 dish towels in the kitchen, etc. Again, when it's a house for 20 people, you need more than that. The house also didn't have enough dishes for 20 people, so we had to buy plastic silverware and paper plates. We were only eating easy breakfasts and some lunches there, so it was annoying to not have adequate dishes. We also had to buy basic things like salt and a can opener that most homes are equipped with. Finally, cleanliness was an issue. Walking barefoot on the floor gave you black feet. There was hair in the bathrooms, and empty beer cans in the backyard. Overall, it really is a good house for large groups, and we all felt like we had good space and easy bathroom access. The problems mentioned were annoying, but didn't ruin anything and could easily be fixed by the management company.

Family Reunion

Throughly enjoyed our stay and it ecxedded our expectations. There were 16 in our party plus one pet and the sleeping spaces were adequate. The kids loved the pool. The board games that you provided were unexpected and gun. The cons, and there were not many, the kitchen was narrow; it was difficult for more than one person to work in and the TV's had lines running across the screens. I would definitely recommend your rently to others.

Perfect for a beach getaway with a big group!

We had a large group (5 families and all their kids) and it was plenty of room for us to have our own separate space. Check in was a little wonky with the incorrect lock box code but it was quickly solved with a phone call. The property was so clean and had lots of complimentary items such as dishwasher tablets, coffee filters, laundry pods, etc. There were minor hiccups of the property such as a leaky faucet and small kitchen to cook in but overall we enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay here again!
