We received a text message at 2pm our house was ready. We arrived to the house at 4:15. Upon arrival we walked into the house and it was a filthy mess. All the beds were unmade, dirty and had body fluids on them. The floor was disgusting, bathrooms had dirty towels, and kitchen was filthy. I called Vacasa immediately (4:20PM). Explained what was going on and sent them pictures. I was told I would be hearing from "local management" soon. 30 minutes goes by I call back again at 4:55 was told that the "local management" will call me asap it is marked at priority. Explained to them it was 5PM on a Friday are you sure I will hear something, and they ensured me I would. Another 30 minutes goes by and still nothing. I called again at 5:30PM and at that time I was told "local management" messaged them back stating that the last renters left on 7/6/24 and a "FIVE STAR MAID" cleaned the house after departure from the last guess. That no one will be coming out to clean the house because it was already cleaned. We ended up spending countless hours on the phone to get this resolved and ended up have to rent another place for the weekend. Long story short I would HIGHLY recommend going through a local rental place. They were so helpful and gave us a discount because they could not believe what had happened. Now that is CUSTOMER SERVICE.
