Palmilla beach

Absolutely beautiful. Everything is close with so many activities to do all along port a First time here and we had a great time. Been to Galveston, south padre, several other city’s along gulf but this place was the most convenient, clean, and friendliest place we have been. Definitely coming back the resort made our stay smooth and was always immediate to respond to all my questions in email

Great kitchen and living space. Beds very comfortable. Pools and beach close by. There are stairs but it’s good exercise. The only issue at all were the mosquitoes

Brand New Build close to pool!

Awesome house that is close to the pool. We spent 4 days at the beach and the Palmilla Guest Services setup out chairs and umbrellas every day. Super easy to book and house has all the little things like soap, paper towels, dishwashing detergent, wine glasses, etc…. Beds are super comfortable as well. Will definitely rent again.

What a beauty!

This brand new home was amazing and has tons of room. The photos do not do it justice. Top notch layout with plenty of bathrooms and beds to go around. Because it is so new, it was missing a few kitchen items we are used to having with rentals. But, all in all a great stay and the Palmilla management team is phenomenal. We will be back!

Adequate for Palmilla but not fantastic

Good and comfortable beds and clean but had several small issues. WiFi not working, a bathroom door wouldn’t close, living area very small for a big group. Door to balcony difficult and handle slightly broken. Nowhere to put clothes in some bedrooms. Also bunk room has no door so was loud for kids. Was clean and sleeps a lot of people.

4th of July Family Vacay

We love staying at Palmilla and enjoyed this new townhouse. The only thing we didn’t know was the lack of house supplies that weren’t there. Wasn’t a huge deal, we grabbed some at the store. Just kitchen soap and cleaning spray. I would suggest to bring an electric broom to help keep sand out of rooms. We did the best we could with a broom that was there. There were 2 families staying, 4 adults and 4 kids and everyone had plenty of space.

Great beach access.

The community is stunning and offers a sense of peace and tranquility. The evenings were quiet. There is easy access to the beach. You can simply park on the beach. They supplied an abundance of beach towels. The unit includes a full-size washer and dryer. Drinks at the pool are expensive, but they do offer complimentary water. I wish there were additional amenities apart from the two beautiful pools. If you intend to cook, bring extra trash bags. There were numerous pots, pans, and dishes available. The beds are extremely comfortable. A Keurig and another coffee maker were provided, but no coffee was included. Remember to bring your own coffee. We stayed in a four-bedroom house that was beautifully decorated and spacious enough for a group of 6 adults and 2 children. The interior was spotless upon our arrival.

Great weekend

The unit was clean and well appointed. Communication with owner was not good. I emailed prior to arriving without receiving any response. The WiFi was not working. The staff tried to help but the unit need to be reset and the staff were never granted permission by the owner to gain access to the closet where the WiFi was, so communication with the owner was less than optimal! The staff was able to provide an alternative solution. Our unit had 3 stories with 4 bedrooms and a loft area with bunk beds so plenty of rooms/beds. Property is nice with great pool, however, very limited parking. The units provided two spaces but streets lined with cars. Quiet and comfortable overall!

Excellent Stay

We booked a stay for 3 nights at Driftwood Cottage. The stay was excellent. The unit is brand new (2022) and was super clean. The unit has 1 bedroom (king size bed) on the ground floor with a TV and full bath with a walk-in shower. The second level is another bedroom (queen size bed) with a full bath that attaches to the main living area. The main living area has a kitchen, dining and living area. The kitchen was well equipped with plates, cups, cookware, Kuerig, toaster, crock pot, regular coffee maker (in the cabinet), etc. The TV in the living area is large and has all of the streaming apps, but guests have to use their logins. The third level has two more bedrooms (king size beds) with full baths. There is also a bunk area with a large tv. The bunk area does not have a door, but that worked out great for our young kids. Each bathroom comes with toiletries (bar soap, shampoo and conditioner) for your stay. The unit is also equipped with dishwashing tabs, dishwashing liquid soap and laundry detergent. There are two carport/covered parking spots on the backside of the unit and for our stay there was always street parking available as well. The location of the unit is great. It is about 50 yards from the pool and it is not far from the Golf Shop/Black Marlin/Reds. We rented a golf cart (from off premises) while we were there and it was great. When booking go ahead and give guest services a call, because golf carts, beach chairs and cabanas sell out fast. A golf cart is definitely recommended for driving around the property and going to/from the beach over the Palmilla Beach boardwalk. Chairs on the beach are not necessary, but are a convenience. You can take your own chairs, blankets, etc. and set them up in the Palmilla area. They also have bathrooms on the beach that are separate from the public port-a-pottys. What a great stay, we will definitely return. Thanks to Vacasa as well that sent many emails prior to the stay, during the stay and after the stay that communicated all the details to make the process smooth.
