Great location

Great location south of town and beach was a very short walk for us! Lack of things like garbage bags, dishwasher detergent (even one) and a dish scrubber were a bit inconvenient. The dishwasher was not in good shape. Overall though, the location is why you're there and that gets a 10 out of 10!

We had a great time! The house was in a great location with amazing views of the water. The house itself has a few things that are dated or couple be replaced, but the views and access to the beach made up for that. It’s hard to find water views like this for a good price in port A! And with two little kids who need constant potty breaks or a nap, getting back to the house from the beach was a breeze.

It was fine

Great location, easy walk to beach, but lacking in amenities. Dishwasher didn’t work well, toaster caught fire, subpar cooking an equipment, dirty.

The property has a wonderful view of the beach, easy access to the walkway however it needs a lot of maintenance inside and out. Beware of fire ants mounds all around the property. Dishwasher doesn’t clean, fridge temp was warm and took a while to cool off. No bedsheets given for the pull out sofa bed, I would recommend bringing a mattress cover. The shower on main floor does not drain well. AC vents very dusty and not screwed in properly. It was a good find for booking last minute but will not reserve again.

Dirty, no help from hosts

Where do I start? Let’s start on Tuesday 5days before my trip where I contacted the host to inform them about the hurricane in the gulf and how it may affect the trip, never heard back from anyone until Thursday, and that is because I messaged them again. When I spoke to the representative on the phone I was assured my rental was still good and I am to continue my trip as planned with no remorse regarding the safety of my family. I was told I DO NOT get a refund. Come Saturday my destination issued a manadatory evacuation in which I did reach out to hosts AGAIN, and was told the same thing that I am to continue my trip as planned even though I’m telling the representative about the evacuation. I was told that an email or text will go out if something changes. Sunday morning (da of the trip) I reach out again and wait for a response waited hours with no response so I drove to my destination. When I showed up the house was complete disaster!!! Was not cleaned, all bedding was in balls on floor, there was sand throughout the entire rental, dirty dishes in sink, no toilet paper, no paper towels, no clean bedding or clean towels. They didn’t do anything to prep for my family’s visit. I reached out to the host via text and someone apologized for the non cleaning and said someone should contact me right away. Well the next day comes and it’s late afternoon and no one has reached out, no one has come by the property, so I message again. Please contact me ASAP

Family time

This place was great. Im already looking at when we can go back. My only complaint is that the seating is quite cramped around the dining table. Definitely need a smaller table but this place was spotless.

Great beach getaway

Quick trip to celebrate our Islander student and wanted a place on the beach - this place was perfect - a quick walk across the boardwalk put us on the beach - could see it and hear it from the house. Three bedrooms AND three full bathrooms worked great for the three couples staying.

Spring break week

We had a great time at this rental. Gulf views from both balconies and steps to the boardwalk which was a quick walk to the beach. The pool was too cold but well kept and right next to the house. 2 of the 3 bathrooms were nicely remodeled.

Great location & community. House was not very clean & has several repairs needed.

Loved the location but service with management needs to be addressed. Several things need to be repaired, check in list is needed so new tenants don’t get charged for things that are broken prior to their arrival. Bathroom got locked from inside we called management company & no one ever showed up. Luckily we finally found the key on a shelf going up the stairwell.

Great Location for Family

The location was perfect! The house was clean. The beach was not overly crowded and most were families staying in the neighborhood. The only downside was the power tripped on the side where the microwave was. I sent a message on vrbo and a nice young lady called me and said she would alert the local maintenance to call or come by, I never was contacted so we didn't have a microwave the whole weekend. Things happen but it would have been nice for prompt service and the ability to warm food up. I would still highly recommend this location for a family weekend away.
