My husband and I just returned from renting this unit for a month. We couldn't have asked for a better location or owner to work with!Living room very spacious w/ dining table to seat 8 easily. 3 bedrooms & loft area with double beds. Note- bunk beds are more for children or smaller adults. Each shower had it's own soap & shampoo dispensers which was a nice added touch. There is a screen in porch upstairs with a huge hammock, but our favorite was the downstairs covered patio with large table/couches for evening games, Weber grill, & patio lighting. Garage can fit 2 cars. Also 3 visitor parking spaces & street parking if needed. House Wifi good, excellent selection of TV channels & streaming apps to use.Everything was so close & convenient. Beach is only 2 blocks away. Walk 1 block to the Salty Dolphin Tiki Bar. 2 jello shots, best Hot Dogs ever, and a fun place to hang out. Walk another block to beach and Castaways Bar & Grill. Beach is clean w/ bathrooms nearby and beautiful sunsets. You can drive on beach or walk. 3 blocks down main street is Brewster's Street. Excellent food, drinks, & live music every Thur, Fri & Sat nights. I would suggest stopping at HEB which is 10 min from house, but there is also Island Market a mile away for last minute things. Prices a bit more expensive, but not much. For dinner, I highly recommend Captain's Diner and Island Italian. There is Putt Putt near by and the gift Store next to it is a "must". Thank you Tim for being a wonderful host!

The only drawback was that the home was listed as a 4 bedroom, which it was not. There we're 3 bedrooms and a bed in the loft. The floors appeared clean, but our feet turned black from walking on them. The location was great, so we'd go back again in a minute!

Wonderful

We thoroughly enjoyed the condo. There was plenty of space to both spend time as a family and also not feel like you're on top of each other. We had everything we needed. The bedding was comfortable and the pillows especially were amazing! Communication was great! Every question from the time we booked you the time we left was answered quickly.

Summer kickoff

We had a great time at the beach, largely and parked to this perfect location. It was close enough to the fun but far enough for the quiet in the evening. The kids had plenty of room to spread out and play the teenagers had enough space for their alone time…. We used every amenity from the pool to the WEBER barbecue pit and quaint backyard space. We definitely would go again and highly recommend.

Great Coastal Getaway

Owner was very punctual in communicating about the property. The VRBO is exactly as shown in the listing but much better in person. Plenty of amenities, even beach toys for kids as well as backyard games like cornhole and jenga. Minor issue with parking if bringing multiple vehicles, but Tim was quick to offer a solution. Would recommend to anyome wanting a place close to the beach (literal 2 minute drive to Whitecap beach).

It was nice the refrigerator was not working well, and the bottom master room tv remote was not working, the rest room up stair shower was dirty,and outside patio was dirty. It could use a update.

Amazing

Fron the moment the door opened, i was awe struck!... The living area was incredibly spacious!!.. The kitchen was completely equipped with all the necessities ( including bbq equip). The listing said a bbq pit was provided, but i thought it was going to be a rinky- dink grill.. it was a Weber!!.. needless to say bbq night was fantastic. The kids loved they were able to have their "private" time on the upstairs balcony without the adults " being in the way". The beds in all the sleeping quarters were comfortable. There were plenty of towels for everyone!.. The location was literally around the corner from the beach... no need to buy toys for the kids.. everything was provided from Shovels, wave boards, goggles & sand castle building molds to pool noodles.. This was a great location for our family get together. My aunt was visiting from New Jersey& she was highly impressed with the beach & the home. My Marine is stationed in NC.. This stay definitely reminded (probably bittersweet)him of what's it like living in Texas... I called my brother in Tennessee to show him what he was missing..nevertheless, we are all talking about coming back again next year!

Beach Vacation

The property was very spacious, which was great for our group of 7. There was plenty of room for everyone to be together or to retreat to their own spaces. The beach was a 10 minute walk. There are also restaurants and stores nearby. We really enjoyed the proximity to Padre Island National Seashore.

New years reunion

We had a wonderful time as a family reunion during New Year’s at this location. We had everything we needed, and the host communicated well any time we had a problem. We were only two blocks from the beach, and they allow bonfires on the beach, which added to our wonderful weekend.

Good value

Plus side: Photo tour accurate, plenty of comfortable beds. Relatively quiet neighborhood, close to beach, a good basic stay for the money. Owner's communication was very responsive and clear. Good basic grocery store very nearby. Our insurance deposit was returned much sooner than expected. Minus side: Amenities very basic (could have used a few more kitchen tools and a few more staple food ingredients; great laundry machines but no detergent). And the home is in need of a little upkeep (difficult doorknobs, broken blinds, etc). While it is very close to the beach, it takes a little figuring out how to get to the beach (we found that we could cut through a beachfront hotel's property). Summary: You won't spend a ton of money and it's a decent place to land.

Wonderful Family Time

We had such fun during our visit. It was hard to leave. We had a couple issues arise while there and Tim went above and beyond to address them immediately and was so approachable and friendly. Highly recommend!!
