Sunshine Cottage Rockport TX

Great location, close to the Rockport & Aransas beaches & Corpus Christie. We enjoyed both beaches & The Texas State Aquarium. The Sunshine Cottage was our home away from home for a week. We crafted, played games, & loved our time there as a family.

Sunshine cottage is perfect!

This was the perfect house for a family, everything you could possibly need was provided for. It was beautifully clean and comfortable. Perfect location for everything from shopping and dining, to fishing. 5 STARS!! Would absolutely stay here again!

Great house!

We loved this house and will definitely be back. Location is great for fishing, shopping, and more. Only complaint would be that the fridge and freezer smell “fishy” but I guess that’s to be expected in a fishing town. I bought baking soda to try to freshen it up but no luck.

This place was perfect! The host thought of everything! Literally! Beach toys, towels, chairs, gear - all available so no need to waste car space bringing your own. So many games for kids of all ages. Plenty of kitchen gadgets, large dining table, lots of seating, soft towels…. The location was perfect also. I can’t wait to visit again!

2025 Rockport

We spent 2 months in Rockport. The house met all our needs. The location was ideal for our needs. We found the house very comfortableWe were so glad to be about a block from the bay.Our host Roger was very easy to contact for questions. Getting into the house was easy. Checkout was simple.Would recommend the house for family use. It was in a safe peaceful area of Rockport. Will stay again.

Sunshine Cottage, Rockport Texas

We really enjoyed the property. The location was very convenient - close to Rockport beach, restaurants and various other attractions. The house was cheery and clean with a well organized kitchen and lots of beach stuff, including umbrella, chairs, towels, toys and boogie boards. Great property for kids!! We would certainly stay at Sunshine Cottage again and recommend it to our friends. that visit the area.

Perfect peaceful property

This is the closest location to the beach we have stayed yet. The house was nicely decorated, and had plenty of room, considering my parents stayed as well. Our boys enjoyed the backyard activities, including washers, football, & the obstacle rope. The entire family had a blast. 10/10 would stay again!

Roger communicated everything well and answered questions quickly. Check in was simple and house was ready when we arrived. Kitchen was stocked with everything but the food. There were plenty of towels and washcloths, cleaning items were available. Beach items (towels, wagon, kids toys, chairs) were supplied. Check out was simple, basic cleanup , leave dirty linens out, run the dishwasher. Absolutely loved the house and could easily see 2 sets of adults and 2-4 kids staying here. The only reason we wouldn't stay here again is that the local beach is perfect for families with young children, shallow with small, if any, waves. My wife want's to listen to the waves so in the future we will probably stay in Port Aransas.

Amazing family trip

I was looking for a place for family and friends beach trip and the Sunshine Cottage was perfect for us. Just ashort 2-3 min drive to the beach, food, and shops. Roger and Rene have everything at the house that made our stay very comfortable and relaxing. There was a cooler, beach chairs, wagon, and boogie board so we didn’t have to pack so much. I would definitely stay at Sunshine Cottage again!

Great property

I stayed with my husband and two small kiddos. It had everything we may want to make it a comfortable stay. They even had two white noise machines for the kiddos and a booster for the chair. The host was very responsive to all my questions and I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

Marvelous Vacation Home and Location

We could not have been more pleased with the condition, floor plan, amenities and location of this wonderfully kept home! We enjoyed exploring all that Aransas County had to offer. We could not have had better hosts than Roger and Rene. They were great at communicating with us and the home had everything we might need for our 17 day stay!

Loved Our Stay

Our stay within this beautiful home was nothing short but amazing! The location is close to all grocery stores and walking distance to the water. The home is very relaxing and the accommodations surpassed anything we expected! The host was very sweet and had constant communication with us during our stay! This home was the best home we have ever stayed in EVER! This home will not disappoint!

I give the place a 10 out of 10

Everything was great Cottage located in an area close to everything Plenty of space inside and beautiful outdoor Because it was a girls getaway our only complaint was no curtains on back door since property not fenced off felt someone could walk on property and we could be seen while sitting at dining table and walking around at night but other than that I would recommend the Cottage to others
