Honeycomb Cottage - bright, airy and spacious sanctuary with water view!

Nestled in the cozy cottage community of MacIntyre Shore in Donaldston, PEI (Mount Stewart postal district), Honeycomb Cottage is close to many beaches, and a short drive to Charlottetown, Cavendish, golf courses, the National Park, and many outdoor activities. Honeycomb Cottage is winterized too, so it's a great weekend getaway perfect for snowshoeing or winter hikes. There are large front and back yards, a wrap-around deck with BBQ (in summertime), a well-stocked kitchen for cooking, and there is a playground just one lot over from the cottage. Honeycomb Cottage is a perfect vacation home for families, couples or friends. Tourist Establishment License # 2202909.

The main living area is in the centre and has a large, high hexagon-shaped ceiling (hence "Honeycomb Cottage"). The main bedroom and ensuite are off one side of the main living space, and the "guest wing" with two bedrooms, laundry and bathroom is off the other side. All bedrooms have closets and dressers not seen in the photos.

There are some stores nearby with some food and convenience items, but to fully stock up on groceries you will most likely need to go the a big grocery store in Charlottetown (Superstore or Sobeys). Local stores (seasonal) include Jewell's Country Market in Marshfield, The Shore Market at Covehead Harbour in the National Park, and Lily's Convenience, Ultramar & Irving Gas Stations in Dunstaffnage, Scotchfort and Mount Stewart respectively, are open year-round.

There is an "info sheet" with more pertinent information, brochures and suggestions of things to do. There is a TV, no cable, but there is Chrome Cast so you can stream from your phone or tablet.

Cancellation Policy: Travellers who cancel at least 30 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. If they cancel between 14 and 30 days before check-in, they'll get back 50%. Otherwise, they won't get a refund.

Our house rules: primary renter must be 25 or older, no smoking, no parties or events, and maximum of six people staying/sleeping in the cottage. Pets are permitted for a fee, but must not be left alone in the cottage due to separation anxiety ("accidents" on the floor, barking, etc.)
